Will PAS Sack YB Nasharudin Mat Isa?

Back in town: Nasharudin arriving at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport from Jeddah. — Bernama

Now many PAS leaders seems not to be very happy with and some are even angry at YB Nasharudin Mat Isa.

They sort of telling him to change and follow whatever PAS leaders said or leave PAS and quit his post as the Bachok’s MP.

The calls happened after YB Nasharudin made a statement on the issue of DAP’s chairman Karpal Singh’s objection on hudud law and later after a photo of  YB Nasharudin together with the Malaysian Prime minister attending a meeting with Saudi Arabian ulama’ in Mecca.

Will YB Nasharudin be leaving PAS for UMNO?

No, YB Nasharudin said that he is not quitting PAS for UMNO…

He said, “For the umpteenth time, I have never had any intention to join UMNO. I just consider them (the leaders in UMNO) as my Muslim brothers.”

But can all of the PAS’s leaders accept the leaders in UMNO as their Muslim brothers?

YB Nasharudin also again questioned PAS about PAS’s political alliance with those who were “against Islam” and wants PAS to make a strong stand on hudud.

Now, can PAS still accept YB Nasharudin?

Meeting Uncle Nasharuddin Mat Isa

On Sunday May 20,2012, I went to the Bandar Bukit Mahkota Club House in Bangi for the wedding of Uncle Nasharudin Mat Isa’s daughter.

Uncle Nasharuddin Mat Isa used to be the Deputy President of PAS.

We ate together with Uncle Ismail Mina and his family.

The food was very delicious and the cendol was very tasty too.

Anyway I am sad because we could not eat the roasted lamb as they were still not ready by 12:15 when we left the club house  😐

I saw lots of them being roasted; Uncle Ismail Mina Ahmad said that there were fourteen of them altogether.

Before we left, I asked  Uncle Nasharudin why didn’t he leave PAS since PAS still joined Bersih 3.0 demonstration after Uncle Nasharudin said that it is haram to do so.

He said that he will answer my question if I go to his house 🙂

So I have to go to his house to get the answer.

We were told that Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and the opposition leader Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim will be attending the wedding later in the evening.

However, I found out later that Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin attended the wedding but Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim did not.

It is funny because Anwar and Uncle Nasharudin are members of the opposition parties in Pakatan Rakyat while Tan Sri Muhyiddin is from UMNO.

Is Anwar not very happy with Uncle Nasharudin?

Tunku Abdul Aziz Ibrahim Quits DAP

Congratulations to Tunku Abdul Aziz!

I think that he did the right thing.

He is a very brave and a good politician that sacrificed his positions in DAP to fight for something that is right for the people and Malaysia.

He was the DAP vice-chairman and a DAP senator.

DAP or Democratic Action Party is one of the Malaysian opposition parties.

DAP took part and supported Bersih because they claimed that the government is not democratic so it is very funny to see how they treated their own vice-chairman.

Please click here for more detail.

Actually I was waiting for this announcement since DAP do want to renew his senatorship because of his statements about Bersih 3.0.

And I also can’t wait to see which party he’ll choose next.

Now I am wondering why Uncle Nasharuddin Mat Isa do not quit PAS yet because PAS do not agree with him when he said that taking part in Bersih 3.0 is haram(forbidden) for Muslims because it was led by an LGBT fighter.

PAS leaders, members and supporters took part in the street rally that ended in a riot even though they are all Muslims and another PAS leader claimed that taking part in the rally is wajib or a must.

Wacana Kemungkaran LGBT Mengundang Bala Allah

Today I attended a discourse entitled, ‘Wacana Kemungkaran LGBT Menundang Bala Allah’ at Dewan Besar UTM, Kampus Antarabangsa, Jalan Semarak, Kuala Lumpur.

The speakers are:

  1. Ustaz Muhammad `Uthman El-Muhammady from International Institute of Islamic Thought and Civilization (ISTAC) – UIA. He spoke about ‘Hubungan Gender Dari Perspektif Islam’.

  2. Y.B. Nasharudin Mat Isa from Pusat Kajian Fiqh Kontemporari, whose talk was about ‘Seks Songsang: Perspektif Syari’ah’.

  3. Haji Abdul Rahim Sinwan from Persatuan Peguam Muslim Malaysia who spoke about ‘Tuntutan LGBT Di Manakah Pencanggahannya Di Bawah Perlembagaan Persekutuan?’

  4. Haji Mahamad Naser Disa from Biro Undang-undang, Majlis Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan (MAIWP) who gave a talk on ‘LGBT Dari Perspektif Tuntutan Hak Asasi’.

There were a lot of reporters and cameramen from the main media such as TV3, TV AlHijrah, Astro Awani, Utusan Malaysia, Berita Harian, New Straits Times, MobTV and some other medias that I can’t remember.

Over there I spoke to Abang Izwan Azir Saleh from TV3.

I think he is a very nice person and very friendly too.

I also met Pak Cik Burhan, Pak Cik Amin, Atuk Mansur, Atuk Abdul Rahim, Abang Amal, Abang Nasrul, Abang Nik Farih, my uncle Ami Ma, Uncle Haji Mahamad Naser Disa, Uncle Ustaz ‘Uthman El-Muhammady, Uncle Ustaz Ismail Mina, Pak Cik Sabirin and a lot of other uncles, ‘abangs’ and ‘kakaks’.

Actually I don’t really understand much what were being discussed during the discourse because they used very hard Malay words (for adults).

Anyway, I think it must has been an important discourse because it was aired on TV AlHirjah and TV3 just now.

More than 400 people attended the discourse.

* I will post the photos once they have been uploaded from the camera 🙂
