Tun M and TMI vs Bukit Aman
The Malaysian Insider (TMI) reported that the police went to Tun Dr. Mahathir’s office in Kuala Lumpur on November 6, 2015.
It is understood that the police team, led by Supt Azham Othman had posed 45 questions to Dr Mahathir over alleged statements he made against the country’s leadership and other related issues including the Bersih 4 rally. – TMI
TMI also wrote that, “the authorities opened several investigation papers after reports were made against Dr Mahathir, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said last month”.
Next, TMI reported that, “Dr Mahathir stays mum, up to police to consider arrest”.
And Tun M decided not to answer questions asked by the police.
“They asked questions and I said I will not answer. I don’t censor anything,” – Tun M (TMI)
Then the next day, on November 7, TMI again posted another article about Tun M questioning, “reports in government-linked newspapers reporting that the country was not heading into a financial crisis.”
TMI reported Tun M argued, “if everything is fine, why did Putrajaya arrest people for sabotaging the banking and financial system of the country”.
TMI also wrote that, “Dr Mahathir said there appear to be a loss of confidence in the government that was precipitated by the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) scandal”.
He said there was “the inability to service debts, disappearance of money, cash in the private accounts
of the PM, its subsequent disappearance, inability to explain US$100 million, the Budget 2016 monetary gifts, shrinking national resources, questionable use of EPF and KWAP funds, poor FDI, etc.” “So all cannot be well. Who is responsible? Cannot be some non entity! – Tun M (TMI).
Now in the first place, why didn’t Tun M answer the questions asked by the police when the next day he made more accusations about the PM?
If his accusations are true, why didn’t he tell the police everything he knows and give them all the evidences to support his words so that the police can take action and investigate the matter?
Or is it because he has no evidence?
He understands the law, so why haven’t he taken proper actions rather than giving speeches and talking about the same thing over and over again everyday without showing any concrete evidence?
And why did Tun M do not cooperate with the police who are actually doing their work?
What is he trying to prove when he told the reporters that he doesn’t care, “if anyone is going to arrest him”?
Is anybody trying to imply that the police went there to arrest Tun M or sort of police abusing their power?
And it gets funnier when even Anwar Ibrahim from the Sungai Buloh Prison defended Tun M, saying that Tun M committed no crime.
Now, when the police received a report, they must investigate; but when they investigate, unfortunately people like Anwar blamed the police for doing what they have to do.
Now, does Anwar want to stop the police from doing their work?
As written in the first TMI’s article above, the police were there only to investigate, and not to arrest or to question Tun M because they accused Tun M committed a crime; but why must TMI brought up the possibilities of Tun be arrested?
Is Tun M, TMI and people around him trying to blame the police over this matter and saying that PM Najib uses the police to arrest innocent people who criticise the PM?
And another thing, why must Tun M be the judge and blame the authorities in the case of Khairuddin and Mathias Chang and not wait for the case to be judge in court?
Please stop tarnishing the reputation of other parties to make us look good or to prove that we are right.
I’m sad to see Tun M tarnishing his own good name and I hope Tun M will be given hidayah, amin.
At Last, Show Cause Letter For Saifuddin Abdullah
Former Temerloh MP, Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah Saifuddin was sent a show cause letter from UMNO for attending a new political party coalition, Pakatan Harapan’s launching on September 22, 2015.
The new coalition is a re-branding of the defunct unregistered Pakatan Rakyat that replaced PAS with a new party formed by ex-PAS leaders who lost their party positions in the last PAS election.
As a veteran politician, he must understands not to do things against his party’s policy even though TMI reported that he was there as a representative of Akedemi Belia, an NGO led by him.
I do not understand why UMNO has not taken any action against him when he keeps on doing lots of things against UMNO.
So will Saifuddin be sacked from UMNO?
Looking back at what he did, Saifuddin deserves to be sacked after taking part in programs by the opposition parties that attacked UMNO/BN and making statements that were against his party.
Ambiga Mahu Kembalikan ISA?
On August 29, 2015 The Malaysia Insider (TMI) wrote that in her speech at Bersih 4, Ambiga Sreenevasan wants the government to listen to the loud voice of the demonstrators:
“Former Bersih 2.0 co-chairman Datuk Ambiga Sreenevasan wants all members of parliament (MP) to move a vote of no-confidence against Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s leadership in Parliament after the “loud message” sent by tens of thousands of Malaysians who rallied during Bersih 4 today.” – TMI
Claiming that the voices of the 20,000 illegal Bersih 4 demonstrators as the voices of the people, G25 spokeswoman, Datuk Noor Farida Ariffin told TMI that she wants the government to listen to the “suara rakyat” and said that if she is the PM, she would listen to their demands.
So logically, the legal Himpunan Rakyat Bersatu‘s 250,000 voices are much more louder than the illegal Bersih 4’s 20,000 voices.
And since both Ambiga and Noor Farida are fair and just people who are fighting for the government to listen to the voices of the people; now they surely want the government to do as what had been demanded by the 250,000 legal Himpunan Rakyat Bersatu participants.
So, Ambiga and Noor Farida must now push the government of Malaysia to bring back ISA as demanded by the ‘suara rakyat’!
They claimed that Bersih and G25 have no political motives and are marching on the roads to make the government listen to voices of the people; so they must now prove to the world that they are not bias and unfair; as what they always say about our government.
The “baju merah” were represented by the Malays while the “baju kuning” were represented by the Chinese, but it does not matter because after all we are all Malaysians, and both Ambiga and Noor Farida are not bias, aren’t they?
Reaksi Jurucakap G25 Terhadap Bersih 4 Menyedihkan
The Malaysian Insider (TMI) reported that the liberal Muslim group, G25 spokesperson was upset about Najib’s reaction to Bersih 4.0.
As a Muslim, I am sad to see Muslims being unfair to themselves to support an illegal group that is against Islam as the religion of the Federation as written in Article 3(1) of the Federal Constitution and demands things that are against the teaching of Islam.
Why is she so sad?
Did Prime Minister Najib send the FRU to spray water and shoot tear gas at the illegal demonstrators?
Did the prime minister use the police to cause trouble and to disperse the illegal demonstrators?
They should be thankful that there’s no tear gas or water cannons to stop them but instead, they are not happy and still blame Najib for nothing.
Below are my answers to the Datuk Noor Farida’s statements, TMI’s text is in red and my answer will be in blue.
Tindakan Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Najib Razak yang mengetepikan peserta perhimpunan Bersih 4 malam tadi menyedihkan dan menunjukkan beliau dalam keadaan penafian terhadap sejauh mana rakyat Malaysia tidak berpuas hati dengannya, kata bekas diplomat Datuk Noor Farida Ariffin.
Must Prime Minister Najib step down only because of the opposition supporters went to the street and demanded him to do so? Is that fair? I do not understand how Datuk Noor Farida Ariffin can assume that Bersih 4 is the voice of all Malaysian when it is only voices of the minority.
So, must Lim Guan Eng step down if people organise a rally demanding him to do so?
Jurucakap kumpulan tokoh Melayu (G25) itu berkata, rakyat Malaysia berpadu tenaga pada hujung minggu lalu menuntut jawapan daripada kerajaan, dan beliau sepatutnya mendengar suara mereka, bukan sebaliknya melabelkan mereka sebagai “berfikiran cetek”.
“Menuntut jawapan daripada kerajaan?” Datuk Noor Farida, Bersih claims that their main agenda is fighting for a free and fair election and nothing about, “menuntut jawapan daripada kerajaan”. Again, Bersih 4 does not represent the majority of the citizens of Malaysia, the demonstration is illegal and powered by the opposition party, so it is not the voice of the Malaysian. Even PAS supporters do not take part in Bersih 4.
“Ia benar-benar menyedihkan. Jika mereka bijak, mereka akan mendengar kata-kata rakyat.
“Tetapi sebaliknya, mereka berada dalam keadaan penafian dan menuduh kita macam-macam,” kata Farida, yang juga menghadiri perhimpunan itu atas kapasiti peribadinya.
“Beliau membuat ucapan yang begitu bertentangan dengan fakta yang berlaku di peringkat bawahan. Mereka betul-betul menafikan realiti.
Who are the “rakyat” that Datuk Noor Farida was talking about? Does she mean that only Bersih 4 participants are the rakyat? It seems like she is the one who “betul-betul menafikan realiti” or denying the reality.
“Jika saya jadi beliau, saya akan mendengar suara rakyat dan benar-benar melakukan sesuatu untuk menerima dan memulakan perubahan yang dituntut rakyat,” katanya.
Dalam perutusan Hari Kebangsaaannya malam tadi, Najib berkata perhimpunan itu sungguh tidak wajar, mempamerkan kecetekan minda dan miskin semangat kebangsaan.
I agree with the prime minister. I am thankful that she is not the Prime Minister because she used to be so confused about the Federal Constitution (please click here for the article) and now she is confused about what Bersih 4 is all about.
Beliau berkata kerajaan menolak sebarang bentuk demonstrasi jalanan yang mengganggu ketenteraman awam, sambil menambah ia tidak mencerminkan kematangan.
The government is doing the right thing as they must protect the safety of the people and not let the illegal demonstrators ruin the country. The government must be irresponsible if they do not “menolak sebarang bentuk demonstrasi jalanan yang mengganggu ketenteraman awam”.
Tetapi Farida hari ini berkata, daripada menghina penunjuk perasaan, Najib dan pentadbirannya sepatutnya bersyukur kerana ribuan orang yang berkumpul berhampiran Dataran Merdeka itu dalam keadaan aman.
Bersih 4 is an illegal demonstration, so it is the demonstrators who should be thankful that the government did not send the FRU to disperse them and does not take stern actions against them like what the Singaporean government did to Bersih 4 demonstrators in Singapore.
Beliau berkata hari ini, perhimpunan itu membuktikan rakyat Malaysia tidak berminat menggulingkan kerajaan melalui keganasan, tetapi semata-mata menyuarakan pandangan mereka.
She must be denying the reality or “betul-betul menafikan realiti” if she really thinks so.
Farida berkata laporan yang mendakwa peserta Melayu sangat sedikit yang menyertainya adalah tidak benar, walaupun mengakui golongan Cina menjadi peserta majoriti perhimpunan.
“Terdapat lebih ramai Cina berbanding Melayu, ya, tetapi tidak benar yang tiada langsung orang Melayu.
“Mereka datang beramai-ramai. Ada makcik, pakcik, anak muda. Saya ambil gambar dengan gadis Melayu bertudung,” katanya.
Please stop spinning stories and “menafikan realiti”. Even MalaysiaKini reported in their article, “Racial imbalance in Bersih 4, Chinese dominate” that only 10% of the illegal demonstrators are Malay.
Beliau berkata, ketiadaan Melayu luar bandar tidak boleh ditafsirkan sebagai tanda kumpulan etnik terbesar di negara ini menyokong Najib.
“Melayu luar bandar tidak dapat hadir kerana mereka tidak mampu. Semasa perhimpunan sebelum ini, PAS terlibat, bas disediakan untuk membawa mereka ke bandar.
“Mereka tidak mampu menanggung kos perjalanan ke Kuala Lumpur, penginapan. Ia tidak bermakna mereka bersikap tidak apati atau tidak peduli,” kata Farida.
What funny excuses; so PAS must be very happy to find out that they are so powerful. It is a pity that DAP kicked PAS away. Please study the GE 13 election’s results to see who voted for UMNO.
So, it seems true that Bersih 4 is all about forcing Najib to step down and not so much about free and fair election as what Bersih claimed?
Katanya, beliau gembira dengan perhimpunan itu dan kawalan pihak polis, dan menganggapnya satu kejayaan.
“Apa yang begitu menakjubkan ialah orang ramai berkelakuan baik dan dalam mood baik. Kehadiran polis sangat sedikit.
So Najib’s government has been very nice to the illegal demonstrators even though they are not supposed to be holding the illegal demonstration and are forcing him to step down.
“Walaupun matahari panas membakar, orang tidak hilang sabar. Mereka bersorak, suasananya seperti berpesta – ia lebih seperti karnival.
“Ramai daripada kita tidak dapat mendengar apa yang diucapkan, tetapi tetap bersorak,” kata Farida sambil ketawa.
A carnival that dirty the city and create many problems to the authorities? As a Muslim it is better for her to be doing things that Allah loves than being a part of the carnival together with fighters of the LGBT rights.
Ditanya sama ada kehadiran beliau pada perhimpunan tersebut bermakna G25 juga mahu Najib meletakkan jawatan, Farida berkata beliau dan beberapa ahli kumpulan pergi ke sana atas kapasiti peribadi.
Katanya, beliau berada di sana untuk menuntut jawapan daripada kerajaan berhubung keadaan negara dan skandal 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB).
“Kita mahu jawapan. Kami tidak berpuas hati dengan rasuah endemik pesat, yang didakwa pemimpin kita.
“Kami sudah bosan dengan kehilangan keyakinan terhadap ringgit, apa yang berlaku dengan ekonomi, kita bimbang tentang 1MDB,” katanya.
Perhimpunan selama 2 hari yang berakhir malam tadi bukan saja menuntut Najib berundur tetapi juga untuk reformasi institusi. – 31 Ogos, 2015.
So it’s true that Bersih 4 is all about forcing Najib to step down and not much about free and fair election.
Nurul Izzah Biadap
Above is the seditious statement towards the Judicial Institution made by Nurul Izzah Anwar in Parliament on March 10, 2015.
Using Clause 2 of Article 63 of the Federal Constitution, the opposition leaders defended her by claiming that Members of Parliament (MP) can say whatever they want in the Parliament; and starting to create stories so that actions will be taken to others who are against them.
In fact they even accused the Inspector General of Police for “blatant abuse of power”.
The Malaysian Insider reported Nurul Izzah as saying:
“I think it is quite clear. My arrest is a blatant abuse of power by the IGP, and I hold the prime minister responsible for allowing transgressions against parliamentarians. I have immunity granted to me… on the issues raised in Parliament,” the Lembah Pantai MP said after being released at 12.30pm at the Dang Wangi police headquarters today. – TMI
According to lawyer Dato’ Zulkifli Noordin there is no total immunity for the MPs in parliament because the MPs are also binded by the Article 63 (4) of the Federal Constitution which says:
Clause (2) shall not apply to any person charged with an
offence under the law passed by Parliament under Clause (4) of
Article 10 or with an offence under the Sedition Act 1948 [Act
15] as amended by the Emergency (Essential Powers) Ordinance
No. 45, 1970 [P.U. (A) 282/1970].
Article 3(a) and 3(c) of the Sedition Act says:
A “seditious tendency” is a tendency—
(a) to bring into hatred or contempt or to excite disaffection
against any Ruler or against any Government;(c) to bring into hatred or contempt or to excite disaffection
against the administration of justice in Malaysia or in
any State;
In fact in the case of Datuk Mark Koding -v- Pendakwaraya [1982] 2 MLJ 120 FC, Datuk Mark Koding was found guilty under the Sedition Act for his speech which was made in the Parliament.
Total freedom to say anything they want and to accuse anybody they wish to, no matter if they are lying or will create disharmony in the country?
Now it is very clear why the opposition parties want the Sedition Act to be abolished.
I’m very thankful that the government of Malaysia is wise enough to keep the Sedition Act to protect peace and harmony in our country from spiteful people with personal, self-interest agendas.
Pakatan Is Selling Off Malaysia For Anwar?
In his article, “Pakatan Willing To Sell Off Nation For Anwar”, Hafidz Baharom wrote how the opposition parties are willing to even sacrifice the nation, just to release their leader, Anwar Ibrahim from jail.
I’m not a fan of Hafidz Baharom; in fact I’ve never agree with his opinions, so the article above really surprised me.
He started his article with:
“It is disappointing to see that the only agenda the Pakatan Rakyat parties and supporters have a care for is the immediate release of their leader, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, even to the point of willing to barter away our sovereignty.” – TMI
Hafidz Baharom then asked;
“…is one person really worth sacrificing the entire nation for?” – TMI
Of course NOT!
Hafidz Baharom also wrote:
“With Pakatan promoting this petition to its supporters, allow me to ask this; what if the US puts forward trade sanctions on Malaysia? Think about it.” – TMI
But again, maybe that is what the opposition leaders want – for the US to “put forward trade sanctions on Malaysia”, so that they can blame the whole thing on the government, and call for the people to topple the government even though it’s them who cause that to happen.
Hafidz Baharom also wrote about the opposition leaders:
“So congratulations to them on finally showing their political stripes and just how far they are willing to sell out the people they vowed to defend.” – TMI
I really hope that more people can see the true colours of the leaders and can see that they do not care about the people and that they are willing to sell of the sovereignty our country for their own agendas.
“Malaysians should not unwittingly support something so blindly.” – Hafidz Baharom (TMI)
Most Malaysians are tired of Anwar and his ‘Reformasi’, and opposition parties’ supporters must remember that they must “not unwittingly support something so blindly.”
It seems like PKR is only all about Anwar Ibrahim and his family.
I want to congratulate Hafidz Baharom for being brave enough to be honest and not spinning facts but his boss might not be very happy with him.
Anyway, I’m not surprise if Hafidz Baharom will soon be writing another article that he has change his mind and that he supports the petition to force the Malaysian government to free Anwar Ibrahim.

Nightly Vigils For Anwar?
In the above article, PKR president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail who is also the wife of Anwar Ibrahim announced that PKR will be holding nightly solidarity vigils outside the Sungai Buloh prison in response to Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s sodomy conviction yesterday and “urged all Malaysians to join in the vigil every night beginning tomorrow for as long as possible.”
“We encourage the public to join solidarity gatherings, or vigils, outside the Sungai Buloh Prison each day, starting tomorrow night.” – Wan Azizah, TMI (February 10, 2015)
I guess she wants to:

Get the attention of the western powers such as the United States, United Kingdom, the United Nations and others so that they will force the Malaysian government to release Anwar from the prison.

To attract more supporters who will then do crazy things like demonstrations against the government.
It is Wan Azizah’s rights to camp outside the Sungai Buloh Prison each day until Anwar Ibrahim is freed but is it fair for her to make others do the same just to free Anwar from jail?
Wan Azizah is actually using PKR supporters to show the world that Anwar Ibrahim has lots of supporters and she does not care that she is wasting the people’s time and money for her own good.
I think it is very selfish because some of them might lose their jobs or having trouble with their studies because of getting carried away with all these useless activities.
By the way, I wonder if Wan Azizah will be camping outside the Sungai Buloh Prison each day, starting tomorrow night for the next 5 years or will she and her family members be resting at home while their supporters do the dirty works?
It will be okay for Wan Azizah, Nurul Izzah and other opposition leaders to camp outside the prison because as MPs and assemblymen they do not have strict office hours like most people and their bosses won’t fire them for being late or not doing their jobs well.
So, let PKR, DAP and some PAS leaders camp outside the prison; it’s interesting to see how long Wan Azizah and Nurul Izzah will be camping and who are the other leaders who’ll be camping for Anwar Ibrahim with them.
I only hope that there will be no candle light Virgil because it is against the teaching of Islam.
The Pro-opposition Activists Are Pressing For Ismail Sabri’s Resignation
The title of the above article by The Malaysian Insider (TMI) really attract my attention.
TMI started the article by writing that:
“Some 49 activist groups today demanded the resignation of Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob who had gone on a racist rant against Chinese businesses, saying it was an irresponsible move on the part of the minister to play on racial sentiments.” – TMI
Which NGOs are the 49 activist groups that demanded the resignation of Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob?
So I searched for the names of the NGOs and I found the full list in Malaysia Today.
When I read the list, I found that many of the NGOs are very familiar; so I did more research …
First I put the list side by side with the full list of NGOs that part of Bersih :
So most of them are part of Bersih.
Then I also put the list side by side with the list of NGOs which are part of COMANGO and this is what I found:
So, that is why the names of the NGOs are very familiar to me and they are highlighted by TMI!
These same NGOs are the members of Bersih, COMANGO, NegaraKu and some of them like SUARAM and Sisters In Islam or its real name, SIS Forum are not legal NGOs because they are not registered under ROS.
It is very funny when some illegal NGOs are pressing for a legal minister’s resignation.
No wonder those NGOs want Ismail Sabri to resign, after all those NGOs are the opposition parties supporters and will only look for ways to oppose the government.
To be fair, TMI should change the title of the article to, “The pro-opposition activists are pressing for Ismail Sabri’s resignation” or “Bersih and COMANGO activists are pressing for Ismail Sabri’s resignation.”
They are not only pressing for Ismail Sabri to resign but they also want to change the government.
Reza Aslan, A Pluralist Who Calls Himself A Muslim
An Iranian-American professor, Reza Aslan in an phone interview with The Malaysian Insider (TMI) criticised Putrajaya for “… setting itself up as a “parent” rather than an elected government, in banning the use of the word Allah among non-Muslims and dictating how Malaysian Muslims should practise their faith.”
My question is, what right has Reza Aslan to criticise a policy of another country and of a religion that he does not believe in?
Reza Aslan is a liberal and pluralist but claiming himself as a Muslim and is telling the Muslims that his ideology is the true Islamic teaching.
In 2014, Aslan described Islam as: “a man-made institution. It’s a set of symbols and metaphors that provides a language for which to express what is inexpressible, and that is faith. It’s symbols and metaphors that I prefer, but it’s not more right or more wrong than any other symbols and metaphors. It’s a language, that’s all it is.”[30] – Wikipedia
Does he knows that being a liberal and pluralist is against the teaching of Islam?
If he does not understand Islam, how could he teaches an Islamic sovereign country about Islam?
It is weird when a person who does not even believe or follow the teaching of a religion thinks that he understands the religion better than the religious authorities of the religion itself.
Reza Aslan must learn to respect other religions and not to criticise others who do not share his belief in liberalism, pluralism and the Syiah teaching.
TMI also reported:
He (Reza Aslan) questioned as to why Malaysia should have a single official version of Islam for its citizens to follow, given that Islam is one of the most diverse religions in the world. – TMI
Reza Aslan is a liberal and pluralist, so he does not understand or believe in the true teaching of Islam.
In Malaysia, we are the Muslims of Ahli Sunnah Wal Jamaah from the Shafie school of thought or madhhab, so this is the guideline followed by our Islamic authorities.
And since there is only four school of thoughts in Islam, I think Reza Aslan’s statement that, “Islam is one of the most diverse religions in the world,” is wrong.
There are lots of deviant teachings which claimed to be a part of Islam, for example, Syiah; but the rules of Syiah is against the rules of Islam.
Here’s another quote from TMI, that proves how narrow-minded Reza Aslan is:
“So I think the Malaysian people need to make a decision, do they want to be like Afghanistan, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia or Iran?” – TMI.

It is hard to imagine that we want to be like Iran because Iran is a Syiah country and Syiah is not a part of Islam when Article 3(1) of the Federal Constitution of Malaysia says that Islam is the religion of the Federation; so we’ll not follow Iran.

Malaysia is a sovereign country and we have our own rules and constitution so we’ll be Malaysia, not Iran nor Sweden or Singapore.

We are not a secular country the way Reza Aslan wants us to be.
As a liberal and pluralist, Reza Aslan does not like the idea of an Islamic country having religious authorities that help to take care of Islam and the Muslims in the country:
“Theologian Reza Aslan says centralised religious authorities should not exist in countries that profess to adhere to Islam.”- TMI.
If Reza Aslan is a good Muslim, he’ll not make neither the above statement nor will he make the below statement because we need to follow our madhhab or school of thought and not simply mixing things from any madhhab that we find easier or more convenient for us.
“Islam allows me to follow any mufti that I please. We don’t have a pope, we don’t have a bishop who tells us what we can do.” – TMI.
Reza Aslan must not make ridiculous comments about the Allah issue if he does not understand the real issue because his comments only sounds exactly the same as the voices of the Malaysian opposition leaders and supporters including TMI who interviewed him for the above article.
TMI publishes lots of confusing articles to promote the liberals and pluralists but claiming that they are better Muslims than the Muslims themselves.
