Tropical Cyclone Ului Is Going To Australia

Tropical Cyclone Ului is expected to hit North Queensland, Australia early Sunday.

It is expected to cause strong winds of 170 km per hour (105 miles per hour) and heavy rains.

Strong winds can damage tress, plants and not very strong houses.

The heavy rains can cause flooding.

This is a disaster.

There may be very high waves too as what happened in Fiji during Tropical Cyclone Tomas.

Tropical Cyclone Ului hit Solomon Islands earlier this week.

It caused floods and the strong winds damaged and destroyed homes, plants and trees.

People in the areas may have to move so that they won’t be hit by the storm.

I think that somebody should help them to move from there by super sonic jets.

Super sonic jets can fly faster!

I Lost My First Baby Tooth

On Sunday morning, 20th December 2009 I lost my first baby tooth.

Baby teeth are our first set of teeth.

We can also call them milk teeth.

When we grow up we’ll be having new teeth.

They are called permanent teeth.

This is how I lost my baby teeth:

In the morning we went to a farmer’s market and we bought some ‘keropok lekor’.

I ate ‘keropok lekor’ on the way home and when I was taking the last bite I saw my baby tooth on it!

I was surprised!

Fortunately I did not eat it together with the keropok.

I showed my mother my baby tooth.

My mother cleaned the tooth and keep it in a safe place.

Later when my big sisters came back home from their silat class I told them that I lost my tooth.

I am so happy that I had lost my first baby tooth.

Now I have another small permanent tooth and I think I’m going to loose another baby tooth soon 🙂

Bubur Arab So Yummy

On Sunday my mother cooked bubur Arab for iftar.

I love bubur Arab very much.

In English bubur Arab means Arabian  porridge.

My mother first ate the porridge in Makkah or Mecca.

Makkah is in Saudi Arabia.

We need to put:

  1. Mutton

  2. Spices

  3. Rice

  4. Water

  5. Milk

  6. Onion

  7. Garlic

  8. Ginger

  9. Celery

The mutton must be soft and tasty.

I eat the porridge with fresh tomato and onion.

We can also add some Arabian salsa but I think the salsa is too hot.

When I eat Bubur Arab I’ll say:

‘mmmmmmmmmmm……….’

I think there will be a bubur lambuk Arab one day.
