Meeting Uncle Ja

On the second day of Eid, I went to Tok Teh’s  house.

Over there I met my father’s cousin, Uncle Ja.

With Uncle Ja

Uncle Ja is Tok Teh’s Son.

Uncle Ja’s real name is Wan Jailani bin Wan Abdul Razak.

Uncle Ja is a journalist.

He works as the Selangor Berita Harian‘s Bureau Chief.

Uncle Ja's business card

He taught me how to write captions for pictures in my blog.

He also showed me photos of the places that he visited, for example: Paris, Dubai, London and lots of other places around the world.

Uncle Ja said that when I grow up, I should become a journalist and not a politician

Uncle Ja is fun to be with; I wish I can meet Uncle Ja again because I want to learn more about how to write good articles and stories for my blog.

I know another journalist from Terengganu, Uncle Wan Ahmad Hulaimi or Uncle Awang Goneng.

Performing Nasheed At Shah Alam

Yesterday my sisters and I performed nasheed at the Maal Hijrah 1431 Carnival in Shah Alam.

First we sang the ‘Khalifah Song’.

Second we sang ‘Animals Love To Hear Quran’.

Third we sang ‘Alhamdulillah’.

And last we sang the ‘Khalifah Song’ again.

“Animals Love To Hear Quran’ and ‘Alhamdulillah’ were written by Dawud Wharnsby Ali.

It was raining very heavily and we have to wait for the lightnings to stop before going on stage.

It was fun to perform on stage.

The carnival was organised by the Jabatan Agama Islam Selangor(JAIS) together with MUAFAKAT (my father’s NGO).

It was held at the Masjid Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah or Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Mosque in Shah Alam.

Shah Alam is the capital of Selangor.

I hope that there will be more chances for us to perform next time 🙂

My father will upload the performance on the YouTube soon.
