Actress Cindy Lee Garcia Sues Producer Of ‘Innocence Of Muslims’

Actress Cindy Lee Garcia who acted in the film, ‘Innocence of Muslims’ sues the film producer for fraud and slander.

Nakoula Basseley Nakoula alias Sam Bacile is reported to be the producer.

She also named Google Inc and its YouTube unit as defendants, asked that the film be removed from YouTube and said her right to privacy had been violated.

The suit accuses Nakoula, Google and YouTube of invasion of privacy, unfair business practices, the use of Garcia’s likeness without permission and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

“This lawsuit is not an attack on the First Amendment nor on the right for Americans to say what they think, but does request that the offending content be removed from the Internet,” the lawsuit said.

Does the producer’s freedom of expression gives him the right to use and cheat the actress in expressing his freedom of speech?

And what about the rights of actress Cindy Lee Garcia?

I really pity the actress if she really was cheated by the producer.

And why did Sam Bacile cheated the actress if he thinks that it is okay to produce the “hateful” film?

I agree with the U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon that freedom of expression should not be abused to provoke or humiliate some others’ values and beliefs.

The world will be a better place to live in if every body can try to be a better person and respect people around us.

U.N. Chief: Anti-Islam Filmmaker Abused Freedom Of Expression

UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) – U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said on Wednesday the maker of an anti-Islam film that triggered violent protests across the Muslim world abused his right to freedom of expression by making the movie, which he called a “disgraceful and shameful act.”

The film, posted on the Internet under several titles including “Innocence of Muslims,” mocked the Prophet Mohammad and portrayed him as a womanizer and a fool.

It sparked days of deadly anti-American violence in many Muslim countries, including an assault on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi in Libya in which the U.S. ambassador died.

“Freedoms of expression should be and must be guaranteed and protected, when they are used for common justice, common purpose,” Ban told a news conference.

“When some people use this freedom of expression to provoke or humiliate some others’ values and beliefs, then this cannot be protected in such a way.”

“My position is that freedom of expression, while it is a fundamental right and privilege, should not be abused by such people, by such a disgraceful and shameful act,” he said.

A California man convicted of bank fraud was taken in for questioning on Saturday by U.S. authorities investigating possible probation violations stemming from the making of the video. He has denied involvement in the film and has now gone into hiding.

I agree with the U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon that freedom of expression should not be abused to provoke or humiliate some others’ values and beliefs.

I protest over what Sam Bacile did as well as over the violence and killings during the protests over the film in some countries.

Muslims must protest but it must be done in a peaceful assembly or in other peaceful ways because that is how good Muslims should behave.

Peaceful Assembly Over ‘Innocence of Muslims’ Is A Waste Of Time But Bersih Is Not?

Perak DAP chief Datuk Ngeh Koo Ham angered lots of Malaysian Muslims when he asked whether Muslims were “wasting time and energy” in protesting against ‘Innocence of Muslims’, a film that insults Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

He was referring to a peaceful assembly which will take place on Friday over the matter.

As a leader, YB Ngeh Koo Ham must understand that insulting Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and Islam is a very serious matter to the Muslims.

And he also must remember that Islam is the religion of the Federation of Malaysia and all leaders must respect our constitution.

And good Muslims do not insult other religions and cause violence while protesting for our rights as misunderstood by some people.

So how about Bersih and other PR’s demonstrations?

Has YB Ngeh Koo Ham ever ask the question if taking part in Bersih 3.0 illegal demonstration was “wasting time and energy”.

And now YB Ngeh Koo Ham said that some people had twisted the meaning of his tweet.

He was reported to say, “There is no doubt that I condemn the video but my tweet was a question and not a statement as some have claimed, belittled Islam.”

I think that he should not tweet the question especially when DAP together with PAS and PKR took part in lots of demonstrations that sometimes turned violent.

Another non Muslim leader, MCA deputy president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai said that Ngeh’s comments reflected insensitivity towards the feelings of Muslims.

I am scared if there are Muslims who think that taking part in demonstrations over political, freedom and human rights issues like Bersih is more important than fighting for Islam.

I wonder what will PAS say about this matter and is PAS willing to leave the Pakatan Rakyat as suggested by YB Nasharudin Mat Isa?

Muslims Protest Over ‘Innocence of Muslims’

Protest were held in Libya and Egypt against a film that insult Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) by radical Americans.

The title of the film is ‘Innocence of Muslims’ and the producer is Sam Bacile.

The evil film is very insulting and anger Muslims from all over the world.

As the result, an American ambassador, Christopher Stevens and three other Americans were killed during an attack by angry Libyans at the U.S. Consulate in the eastern Libyan city of Benghazi Tuesday night.

The Libyans were very angry about the humiliation but they should not kill the ambassador or other Americans when someone else produced the film.

Of course, I am very angry about the film too but as Muslims we can’t cause violence and kill a person just like that.

Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin wants the film to be banned in Malaysia.

I really agree with him because people who support freedom of speech could be influenced by the film and may do more crazy things to insult the Muslims or people from other religions.

And there might be people who might loose their patience after watching the film and might hold violent demonstrations at the American Embassy like what happened in Libya, Egypt and some other countries.

I think that the American government must understand the sensitivity of the Muslims and do not let the freedom of speech to be misused by their citizens to insult and humiliate other religions and the rights of other people.

I am sorry that four Americans were killed and lots of others are unsafe because of one useless film.
