An anti-war and anti-NATO demonstration was held in Chicago yesterday.

REUTERS reported that police said four police officers were injured and 45 demonstrators arrested after baton-wielding police clashed with anti-war protesters marching on the NATO summit in Chicago on Sunday but a lawyer’s group assisting protesters challenged police figures, saying at least 12 protesters were hurt, some with head wounds from police batons, and more than 60 people detained.

The protesters in Chicago’s anti-NATO demonstration said that police were brutal and attacked peaceful demonstrators.

Protesters in Bersih 3.0 riot in Kuala Lumpur also claimed the same but it was some of them who started the violence act.

I wonder why people are always making demonstrations nowadays.

Demonstration always starts peacefully but soon things will turn bad and police will be blamed.

A demonstration can become a riot from a riot can become a war.

So is that good ?

Why can’t adults find better ways to solve their problems or to say what they want?

Bersih 3.0 – A Poem By Ahmad Ali Karim

On April 28, 2012, there was a demonstration called Bersih 3.0 in Kuala Lumpur. The demonstrators damaged lots of things including plants and left a lot ofrubbish around the city. And they blamed others for their violent acts.

Bersih, Oh Bersih

Bersih, oh Bersih what have you done?

Breaking the laws and hurting people,

Stamping on a car just like a Tarzan,

Overturned the car just to cause trouble.

Why must they really had to do that?

Was the violence really that necessary?

They might even hurt their own cute pet,

What they did were really ugly.

They are ruining the people’s mind,

Telling them to riot, riot and riot,

Maybe next they’ll destroy an aeroplane,

Buildings and plants, just like bad robot.

Police brutality is what they claimed,

Twisting stories again and again,

Wanting others to be blamed,

My oh my, what a shame!

Bersih 3.0:In Videos-Police Brutality?/Video-Keganasan Polis?

Some people said that police brutality started the Bersih 3.0 riot.

(Please click here for: Bersih 3.0 Violence – The Ends Justifies The Means?)

The Bersih 3.0 organisers, demonstrators and supporters said that they were peaceful until the police spray the water cannon and tear gas at 2:55 pm when the demonstrators broke the barricades at Dataran Merdeka. (Please click here for the videos).

Were they really being peaceful?

These videos were recorded on April 27, 2012, the night before Bersih 3.0.

I think that they were trying to provoke and make fun of the policemen.

In the second video, they called the police ‘anjing’ or dog in English.

Do they need to do all that?

And why must they do that?

Did they really mean to have a peaceful demonstration by doing all that even before the demonstration day?

In Malaysia if calling people ‘anjing’ is very bad.

You even should not call your enemy ‘anjing’.

And look what happened after the demonstration.

They threw rubbish all around and ruined things and plants.
