Roselle Picking

Now I have three roselle plants.

They are very big and healthy.

I planted them from Rosie’s seeds.

Rosie was my old roselle plant.

It died a long time ago.

My roselle plants have a lot of fruits.

Today I picked 8 fruits from my roselle plant.

The ripe fruits are maroon in colour.

Roselle tastes very, very, very, very, very, very, very sour.

Before they become fruits they were flowers.

The flowers are big, pink and beautiful.

The roselle flower looks like hibiscus.

But hibiscus has a long style in the middle of the flower.

After the flowers fall, the fruits grow.

We can make roselle juice using the fruits.

Roselle juice is very tasty.

It is also a healthy drink.

It is rich in vitamin C and has a natural red colour.

Roselle picking is fun 🙂

And I love apple picking too.

What Are Germs?

Germs are tiny living things that can make us sick.

They can make plants and animals sick too.

But some of them are good and useful.

We need  to use a microscope to see them.

Germ Under A Microscope

Germs do not make their own food.

They get their food from their environment.

Environment means the surrounding or where we live.

Bad germs produce toxins which is something like poison.

The toxin can make us sick.

So when bad germs get into our body; they eat our nutrients, reproduce and make us sick.

Influenza A(H1N1) and AIDS are caused by germs.

There are 4 types of germs:

1)Fungi (fun-guy)

Fungi are the biggest and viruses are the smallest.

Germs love to grow in dirty places and spreads very fast after a big flood, tsunami, earthquake and wars.

After natural disasters there will be cholera outbreak and other diseases from bacteria infections.

To fight germs we have to keep ourselves and our environment clean.

Always wash our hands using anti-bacteria soap and clean water, eat healthy food and drink a lot of water, juices, tea, herb tea and other healthy drinks.

Now My Strawy Is Dead

Strawy is my strawberry plant.

I love Strawy very much.

I love to eat Strawy’s fruits.

But now Strawy is dead.

I am very, very sad because Strawy is dead.

My Strawberry Plant

My strawberry plant‘s name is Strawy.

I first saw Strawy at a farmer’s market.

Then I asked my mother to buy Strawy for me because I love to eat strawberries.

We paid RM 7 for Strawy.

It has lots of fruits when we bought it and two of the fruits are already red and ripe.

The strawberries looked very delicious.

I water Strawy twice a day.

I brought Strawy to Kuala Terengganu and brought it back to Kuala Lumpur.

But now Strawy can’t go to Kuala Terengganu anymore because it is dying.

I think Strawy is dying because we took it to Kuala Terengganu.

It was too sunny in Kuala Terengganu .

In Kuala Terengganu

Strawy needs a shady place and just a little water.

It will die if we put it under the hot sun or in heavy rain.

I am very sad because I can’t take Strawy to Kuala Terengganu again.

WALL-E

WALL-E is a robot.

WALL-E picks rubbish.

WALL-E lives on Earth with his cockroach pet.

WALL-E means:

W – Waste

A – Allocation

L – Load

L – Lifter

E – Earth – Class

There were too much rubbish on Earth because people threw rubbish everywhere.

Nobody lives on Earth anymore.

People went to the space and lived there for hundreds of years.

People can come home only if they can find a plant on planet Earth.

One day WALL-E found a plant.

Then Eve came to planet Earth.

WALL-E met Eve.

WALL-E called Eve – “Eevaa”.

WALL-E gave Eve the plant.

Eve kept the plant and then Eve hibernated.

A space ship took Eve back to space.

WALL-E call out ” Eevaaaa” and hang to the space ship.

They went on a funny adventure in space to give the plant to the Captain.

At last everybody came back home to planet Earth.

The Captain planted the plant on the Earth.

I like WALL-E because it is very,very,very,very funny.

I think we should not throw rubbish everywhere.

We should plant lots of trees.

We should take care of planet Earth.

If not landslide will happen like in Bukit Antarabangsa.

I also think that we should not hit trolleys like WALL-E ; if not they will chase us🙂
