The Qingdao Jiaozhou Bay Bridge in Shandong province, China is now the longest sea bridge in the world.

It was opened on June 30, 2011.

The bridge is 42 kilometers (26 miles) long and links China’s eastern port city of Qingdao to an offshore island, Huangdao.
