A Map of Trengganu Book Signing

Just now I went to the book signing of  ‘A Map of Trengganu’ ( AMoT ).

It was held in the MPH Bookstore, Mid Valley, KL.

We met some bloggers and some of my parent’s Terengganu friends.

Uncle Hulaimi’s teacher, Mr. Soh Kim Yew was also there with Aunty Dinah Soh and Aunty Soh Lay Choo.

AMoT  was written by Wan Ahmad Hulaimi or Awang Goneng.

He gave a nice speech and he talked about how to write books.

His speech was in English and not in Trengganuspeak 🙂

I was listening to Uncle Hulaimi's speech. From the right is Pok Ku Bustaman (a popular Terengganu blogger), my big sister Kaman, Kafah, me, my mother and somebody from the press (I guess).

I am happy that he also mentioned my name to the audience as ‘his friend, Che Ali the blogger’.

Uncle Hulaimi is the only person who calls me ‘Che Ali’

Some people at the event thought my name is really Che Ali 😆

Before we go home, we waited for Uncle Hulaimi to sign the books that we have to deliver.

My big sister Kashah(R), Kaman and me with Uncle Hulaimi who was busy signing the books.

I feel so happy that I met Uncle Hulaimi, Uncle A. Samad Said, Aunty Zaharah and other friends of my parent’s 😀

Ramadhan Mubarak.

Today is the first day of Ramadhan.

Muslims fast in Ramadhan and today I’m fasting 🙂

This evening we are going to have bubur lambuk Kampung Baru for iftar.

It is so delicious.

Wonder where to get the tastiest bubur lambuk in Kuala Lumpur?

If you do not want to queue for the tasty bubur lambuk from Masjid Jamek Kampung Bahru, buy them at Aunty Sham’s stall.

Those are KL’s best bubur lambuk!

The Nicest Rainbow I Saw In KL

On Sunday 31/10/09  I saw a very, very very, very nice rainbow in Keramat.

The colours of the rainbow are:

1. violet

2. indigo

3. blue

4. green

5. yellow

6. orange

7. red

We can usually see a rainbow after it rains on a sunny day.

This rainbow was very nice because the colours were so clear and shiny :)

I was very lucky to see the special rainbow.

People say that at the end of the rainbow there is a pot of gold.

Do you know why a rainbow is called rainbow?

It is because the rain means it appear from rain and bow means its shape is like a bow.

You can see a lot of rainbows at the Niagara Falls.

I think I want to go to the Niagara Falls again.

Toys”R”Us City Square

Yesterday I went to the Toys“R“Us in City Square Jalan Ampang, KL.

I was so happy to be there.

I felt like it was the first time I went there because the last time I went there was  long, long time ago.

But I was surprised to see so many boxes.

There are still a lot of toys but not very much because they had put the toys in the boxes.

They are going to take the toys to another Toys“R“Us.

There will be no Toys“R“Us in City Square soon.

There were not many toys that we want to see.

May be they were in the boxes.

So we have to go to another Toys“R“Us.

I don’t know why they are going to close the store.

Auntie Moon’s house

I went to Auntie Moon‘s house on the way back to KL.

Auntie Moon‘s house is in Kemaman.

Kemaman is inTerengganu.

Terengganu is in Malaysia.

Malaysia is in Asia.

Asia is in planet Earth.

Auntie Moon‘s house is a very beautiful house.

It has 4 rooms.

Auntie Moon has a swing in her garden.

She also has a big plasma TV.

There is a big fish pond inside the house.

There are 3 bridges crossing the pond.

Inside the pond, there are lots of fishes.

Auntie Moon let me feed fishes.

I ate chicken rice at Auntie Moon‘s house.

The chicken rice is so tasty.

I like to visit Auntie Moon‘s house.

I like Auntie Moon because she is very nice.

I like Uncle Kamil too because he is very nice too.

Going Back To KL

The day before going back to KL, I don’t know that I was going back to KL. In the morning my mother told me that today we will be going back to KL.

I was so happy to go back to KL because I like my house and my toys. Going back to my kampung in Terengganu I missed my Kittty, my Lego blocks, my computer, my car toys and all my favourite things.

The morning we were going back to KL I lost my phone, “Phoney“.

We looked for it everywhere but could not find it. I was very, very, very sad but I did not cry. In the car, I was so sad that my tears came from my eyes. I love my phone very much.

The next day my father found my phone. I was very happy. But today I lost it again. But I am not sad because I know that it is in my Nokia bag in my house somewhere.
