Video: Flying Chairs In Rawang Storm Havoc

Yesterday at about 2 p.m. as we drove to a program in Melaka from Serdang, we were caught in a very heavy rain along the highway.

The rain was especially heavy as we passed along the highway around the Universiti Putra Malaysia towards the Country Heights in Kajang.

And this morning, I saw the video below of a very terrible storm which hit the Rawang Golf Club.

Fortunately, we did not face such obstacle and there was no fallen trees along the Lebuhraya Utara-Selatan as we drove back from Melaka last night.

KUALA LUMPUR: Kajang town and its surrounding areas were hit by flash floods after almost three hours of heavy downpour Wednesday, which began at 2pm.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director (Operation) Mohamad Sani Harul said among the badly affected areas were the Kajang town, Taman Jasmin and Saujana Impian.

He said 14 members of the rescue squad from Kajang and Bangi fire station were rushed to the areas after receiving reports about trapped victims.

“We are assisted by the police and Kajang Municipal Council’s rescue team during the operation to rescue the trapped victims,” he said when contacted.

Mohamad Sani said the heavy downpour had also caused the water level in the Jelok river to overflow and caused the low-lying areas to be submerged under 0.5 metres of flood waters.

“The floods subsided at around 6.30 pm,” he added, adding that no casualty was reported. – Bernama

Penyokong Wan Azizah Kecewakan Hannah Yeoh?

Opposition leaders call UMNO leaders and members racists and boasted that Pakatan leaders and supporters are open minded and against racism.

As we drove around Kajang on the election day of the N25 Kajang, we saw lots of party supporters by the roadside waving their parties’ flags, especially around the voting centers.

The Muslim PKR supporters shouted to my parents that they must vote for PKR’s Wan Azizah because she is a Malay Muslim and must not vote for BN because BN’s candidate is a non-Muslim and a Chinese.

After we put on the BN T-shirts that were given to us by the BN’s team, a lot of PKR supporters shouted bad and foul words because they said that we are supporting a non-Muslim.

Some old men even stuck their tongues out at me, which is very rude.

Will Hannah Yeoh call them racist and tweet about it?

But of course Hannah Yeoh won’t call them racist because they are Pakatan members and supporters!

Yesterday morning, we drove around Kajang to see what’s happening on the election day of the N25 Kajang seat.

We shouted words of support to the BN teams of supporters whenever we saw them waving BN flags by the roadside.

It was fun, we put on the BN T-shirts that were given to us as we drove and somebody gave us a BN flag that my sister waved from inside the car.

As my father drove slowly and we were shouting, “Hidup BN” to the BN team, a BN supporter threw me a BN t-shirt from across the street to my car window and they shouted happily when I managed catch it.

We even got a BN umbrella, BN caps and even three kangkungs and shouted of foul words from the PKR supporters!

n
PKR members bring kangkung everywhere, I guess PKR members love kangkung so much that they can’t live without it.

I was very excited to see the BN’s candidate, Datin Paduka Chew Mei Fun talking to BN team by the roadside.

She and the BN team waved at us excitedly when they heard us shouting, “Hidup BN!” and waving the BN flag from our car.

Sadly, we did not stop so that my sisters and I can’t take a photo with her.

A woman wearing a summer hat, maybe she was not given a PKR cap by her father.

By the way, we passed Nurul Izzah as she walked to meet the PKR team wearing a summer hat.

Though my father can’t vote for he is not a Kajang resident, but it’s fun giving support to the BN teams who worked very hard under the blazing sun.

But at the end of the day, it is very sad to see that the people of Kajang are supporting nepotism that is freely practised by PKR and its allies, PAS and DAP.
