A magnitude 6.0 earthquake hit California’s northern c early Sunday morning, injuring at least 172 people.
The quake, the biggest in the region in 25 years, hit at 3:20 a.m. (1020 GMT) (1120 BST).
It was centered 6 miles (10 km) south of the city of Napa or about 50 miles northeast of San Francisco.
Historic buildings were damaged and homes were set on fire.
The quake went for about 50 seconds.
On Sunday afternoon, at least 33 buildings in the city are red tagged which means they are not safe to be entered.
