Yesterday, November 19, 2015 was the grand opening of IKEA Cheras.
There was already a long queue at the main entrance when we reached there before nine o’clock in the morning.
Just before the opening time, the crowd got much bigger and everybody seems to look so excited.
There’s a lot of activities going on all around us as we walked to the cafe for breakfast.
The cafe was bigger, but it was very disappointing for us when we saw that there was no breakfast menu like the ones offered at IKEA Damansara.
Forturnately, they served their delicious chicken wings and soup; but I have to say that yesterday’s soup was not as tasty as the soups that I always ate at IKEA Damansara.
In the showroom, I felt as if I am at IKEA Damansara for the concept is the same but as I entered the gardening section, I was astonished by the grandness and beauty of the area.
It was much, much bigger than the gardening section of IKEA Damansara; and with the very high ceiling and wonderful lighting, I felt that I was entering a really huge greenhouse.
The gardening section of IKEA Cheras is surely the most beautiful part of the store!
I love going to IKEA as IKEA is always our favourite furniture store!
