On Saturday, my mother made kerepok lekor.
Kerepok lekor is a special food from Kuala Terangganu.
Kuala Terengganu is my parent’s hometown.
In Kuala Lumpur people do not sell fresh kerepok lekor.
So if we want to eat fresh kerepok lekor, we have to make them ourselves.
What we need to make kerepok lekor:
-
A bowl of fish.
-
A bowl of sago.

-
Some water.
-
Salt.
How to make kerepok lekor:
-
First blend the fish without the bones.
-
Mix the fish, sago and salt.
-
Shape them so they become long cylinders.
-
Boil them until cooked.
Tadaa! Here is my mother's tasty kerepok lekor! Note: I snapped all of the photos above (except the last one) myself 🙂
