Sweet, Red Malaysian Cherry

Last year I went to Kuala Ibai in Kuala Terengganu to visit Pak Ghani.

Over there I saw some cherry trees.

They are Malaysian cherries.

There are lots of ripe cherries on the trees.

Pak Ghani told me to pluck the red cherries.

The ripe cherries are red and sweet.

The cherries are soft but their skin are a bit hard 😕

Inside the fruits there are a lot of very tiny seeds.

Malaysian cherries are small, not like the cherries in USA.

Cherries in USA

There are a lot of cherry trees in Malaysia.

There are some cherry trees in Ampang Hilir Lake Garden where I jog every week 🙂

We should not pluck the fruits and flowers in the parks.

Now My Strawy Is Dead

Strawy is my strawberry plant.

(read here about Strawy: My Strawberry Plant)

I love Strawy very much.

I love to eat Strawy’s fruits.

But now Strawy is dead.

I am very, very sad because Strawy is dead.

More Eid Open Houses In KL

Last weekend I went to a lot of open houses.

First I went to Uncle Amrahi’s house in Keramat.

I ate nasi beriani, water melon and grapes.

I love the water melon and grapes.

Uncle Amrahi is good in silat Cekak Hanafi.

I also went to Uncle Datuk Rameli Musa’s house.

Uncle Datuk Rameli Musa lives in Kota Damansara.

His house has a swimming pool.

There I met my Hadith teacher, Ustaz Raof.

I met a lot of uncles who attend the Hadith (Fathul Baari) class.

I met Ami Ma, Pak Cik Ismail and Pak Cik Burhan.

I also met Uncle Dr Wahab.

With Abang Solah (Pak Cik Ismail's son)

After that I went to our neighbour Uncle Zainal’s house.

There I met Kak Dayah, Lili and Mimi.

I ate sweet water melon.

At night I went to Seri Maya to fetch atuk and nenek.

Then we went to Atuk Datuk Yahya’s house.

He lives in Bandar Utama.

I ate laksa Johor, satay, nasi beriani and some cakes.

The foods are very tasty.

When I go to open houses, I like to eat fruits.

Fruits are healthy food and they are tasty too.

Durian

Durian is a fruit.

We call durian the king of fruit.

I like to eat durian.

When I eat durian I say mmmmmmm.

Ripe durian has strong smell.

I like the smell of ripe durian.

Durian’s skin is very hard.

The colour of durian’s skin is green.

There are lots of big thorns on the skin.

Durian’s flesh is soft and tasty.

The colour of the flesh is yellow.

There is stone inside the soft flesh.

Durian trees are big.

People don’t climb the durian trees to pick durian.

Durians fall from the tree when they are ripe.

You can eat fresh durian.

You can make durian cake and durian ice-cream too.

But I like to eat fresh durian.

Butterfly

My drawing of a butterfly and a pupa

Butterfly is an insect.

An insect is an animal.

But I don’t like any insect but I only like butterfly.

Butterfly has 6 legs; butterfly has 2 wings and 2 antennas.

A baby butterfly is a caterpillar.

Then it changes to a pupa.

And then it changes to be a butterfly.

Butterfly eats fruit.

I like butterfly and I like fruits too.
