Photos: Hong Kong Boat Accident , 36 Dead

At least 36 people were killed on a boat and ferry accident in Hong Kong last night.

Nine others were seriously or critically injured.

More than 100 people were rescued and sent to hospitals.

All the victims were the boat’s passengers.

They were on an evening cruise to watch fireworks display for the China’s National Day and the Mid Autumn Festival celebration.

The incident happen near Lamma Island, southwest of Hong Kong.

It was reported that the boat sank very fast after the accident.

There are possibility that some people are still missing or still in the boat.

Local news reported that the boat was hit by a ferry operated by the Hong Kong and Kowloon Ferry company on a regularly scheduled service.

This is a disaster.

I am very sad and sorry for the victims, their families and friends.

Going To Penang

Continued from Going To Cameron Highland 🙂 Please read my last post 🙂

I reached Penang at about 3:00 PM.

I stayed at the Bayview Beach Resort at Batu Ferringhi Beach for 2 nights and 3 days.

I stayed in a BIG family room with a king size bed and two other beds with two Sony televisions sets.

My room number was 740.

Bayview Beach Resort is my favourite hotel in Penang.

I always stay there when I go to Penang.

In the evening I played at the beach until sunset.

The next morning I played at the beach again.

I went on a boat ride, rode on a jet ski, played in the sea and built a triangle sand castle.

I enjoyed riding the jet ski the best, next building the sand castle, next boat riding, and last playing in the sea because I don’t like it when the salt water got into my mouth.

I told the wave to stop but it did not listen to me.

I love riding the jet ski because it was very, very, very, very, very fast.

In the evening I played at the beach again until sunset.

We had our dinner at Padang Brown.

I ate a delicious mutton soup with bread.

The next morning we went to Fort Cornwallis and Gurney Drive before we went on the ferry and drove back to Kuala Lumpur.

I enjoyed the trip to Penang very much because it was really fun.

Fin. The End.
