Is Islam Only The Official Religion of Malaysia?

It is sad when a citizen of a country does not know and understand the constitution of his or her own country; and it is even worst if it is the leaders who made the mistake.

So, is it true that Islam is ‘the official religion of Malaysia’ as what was claimed by the Malaysian opposition leaders?

Do they ever study the Federal Constitutions or are they being dishonest?

Article 3 (1) of the Malaysian Federal Constitutions says:

Islam is the religion of the Federation; but other religions may be practiced in peace and harmony in any part of the Federation.

So it is a big lie to say that Islam is only the official religion of Malaysia because Islam is the religion of the Federation of Malaysia.

As Uncle Mahamad Naser bin Disa always says, if one has an official religion, that means the person also has other unofficial religions; making the person a Pluralist.

The oppositions leaders twist the fact to suit their agendas:

  1. PAS wants the Muslims to believe that Malaysia is a secular country; and that only PAS is fighting for Islam while UMNO leaders are against Islam and hate Islam more than its non Muslims allies.

  2. PKR says that Islam is only the official religion of Malaysia because they want Malaysia to become a Plural country.

  3. DAP agrees with PAS and PKR because DAP does not agree with most of the Federal Constitutions especially regarding Islam and Malay Rights.

I am tired of all these lies.

Malaysia is not a secular state because a secular state does not have a religion.

PAS and its allies always twist what Tun Saleh Abbas (former Lord President of the Federal Court of Malaysia) said during the case of Che’ Omar bin  Che’ Soh VS Public Prosecutor to prove that Malaysia is a secular country.

Tun Saleh Abbas said Malaysia only uses secular rules but he never said that Malaysia is a secular country.

DAP always question about Islam and the Malay Rights and wants them to be abolished.

Have they forgotten that Malaysia was formed from various Islamic Malay states and later became the Federated Malay States.

Even the name of Malaysia comes from the word Malay which means the Malays.

The oppositions leaders sit and must study the Federal Constitutions and the social contract of Malaysia before making crazy statements and demands.

And nobody must question about the laws and constitutions of this country.

Sultan Not Invited To Selangor Merdeka Celebration, Who’s Fault?

Reciting the Rukun Negara at the event. The guess of honour was Datuk Ser Anwar Ibrahim.

The Selangor PR State Government didn’t invite the Selangor Ruler, the Sultan of Selangor to the official Selangor Merdeka celebration.

It caused headlines and PR started to blame others 🙂

(I was shown this post, please click hear to read the post).

So why did the Menteri Besar does not invite the Sultan? ❓

The Selangor Menteri Besar political secretary, Faekah Husin was asked about this issue.

She said…

Does PR thinks that Sultans must ask for an invitation to attend their own states’ official functions from their state governments?

Doesn’t PR understand about states protocols?

Has PR forgotten about our Rukun Negara and our Federal Constitutions?

People said that PR does not want our sultans anymore.

Is it true that PR wants to turn Malaysia to a republic?
