So, Aunty Sham’s bubur lambuk Kampung Baru is back!
Packets of packed tasty bubur lambuk.
Well, lots of people will never understand why the porridge is so popular that people will be queuing in a very, very long line at Masjid Jamek Kampung Baru daily during Ramadhan for the free porridge when other mosques and some hotels are also giving away free bubur lambu;, until they had tasted the tasty porridge that is cooked using the original recipe.
Aunty Sham’s brother is stirring a huge pot of bubur lambuk.
If you do not want to queue, try the ones from Aunty Sham’s stall as Aunty Sham uses the same recipe as she used to cook the porridge at the Masjid Jamek Kampung Baru for years.

Since my father was very busy during the week days, this year I only got to eat Aunty Sham’s bubur lambuk on Saturday July 13, 2013 which was the fourth day of fasting.
And it was very, very tasty.
I am standing in front of a long row of part of the huge pots that Aunty Sham uses to cook her bubur lambuk.
