Photos Of A Farmer’s Market (Pasar Tani) In Kuala Lumpur

Pasar tani or farmer's market.

On Sunday, I went to a farmer’s market.

In Malay, we call it ‘pasar tani’.

We went to ‘pasar tani’ to buy food.

In ‘pasar tani’, people sell all kinds fresh vegetables.

We can also buy different kinds of fruits.

    Very sweet cempedak.
These bananas are tasty when fried or cooked in syrup; but do not eat them fresh.

    There are people selling cookies.

I Lost My First Baby Tooth

On Sunday morning, 20th December 2009 I lost my first baby tooth.

Baby teeth are our first set of teeth.

We can also call them milk teeth.

When we grow up we’ll be having new teeth.

    They are called permanent teeth.

This is how I lost my baby teeth:

In the morning we went to a farmer’s market and we bought some ‘keropok lekor’.

I ate ‘keropok lekor’ on the way home and when I was taking the last bite I saw my baby tooth on it!

    I was surprised!

Fortunately I did not eat it together with the keropok.

I showed my mother my baby tooth.

My mother cleaned the tooth and keep it in a safe place.

Later when my big sisters came back home from their silat class I told them that I lost my tooth.

I am so happy that I had lost my first baby tooth.

Now I have another small permanent tooth and I think I’m going to loose another baby tooth soon 🙂

    My Strawberry Plant

My strawberry plant‘s name is Strawy.

I first saw Strawy at a farmer’s market.

Then I asked my mother to buy Strawy for me because I love to eat strawberries.

We paid RM 7 for Strawy.

It has lots of fruits when we bought it and two of the fruits are already red and ripe.

    ali-strawy2The strawberries looked very delicious.

I water Strawy twice a day.

I brought Strawy to Kuala Terengganu and brought it back to Kuala Lumpur.

But now Strawy can’t go to Kuala Terengganu anymore because it is dying.

I think Strawy is dying because we took it to Kuala Terengganu.

It was too sunny in Kuala Terengganu .

Strawy needs a shady place and just a little water.

It will die if we put it under the hot sun or in heavy rain.

I am very sad because I can’t take Strawy to Kuala Terengganu again.21042009001
