Hurricane Dorian: The Aftermath in Bahamas (In Photos)

CNN – Grand Bahama is facing “extreme flooding” after receiving 30 inches of rain from Dorian, the National Hurricane Center said in its 10 a.m. ET update Tuesday.

The island faces yet another day of dangerous winds and life-threatening storm surge as Dorian continues to inch its way over the Bahamas.

Along with the tremendous amounts of rainfall, the NHC said, Grand Bahama is seeing wind gusts measured at 140 mph and storm surge of 10 to 15 feet above normal tide levels, causing destructive waves.

These hazards from Dorian are forecast to continue on Grand Bahama through most of the day.

Names Of Victims And Shooter Of Dayton, Ohio Mass Shooting (Photos)

(CBS News) – Below are the names and ages of the nine victims who died in the Dayton, Ohio, mass shooting.

Six of the nine victims were African American and one of the victims was the shooter’s sister.

  1. Megan K. Betts, age 22 (sister of shooter Connor Betts)
  2. Monica E. Brickhouse, age 39
  3. Nicholas P. Cumer, age 25
  4. Derrick F. Fudge, age 57
  5. Thomas J. McNichols, age 25
  6. Lois L. Oglesby, age 27
  7. Saeed Salah, age 38
  8. Logan M. Turner, age 30
  9. Beatrice N. Warren-Curtis, age 36

News reports stated, according to officials, the Dayton mass shooting gunman was Connor Betts, age 24.

Harvey: Before And After Photos Of Catastrophic Houston Flood

Hurricane Harvey which made landfall in Texas as a Category 4 storm on August 25, caused “epic and catastrophic” flooding especially in Houston and some other parts of Texas.

Floodwaters are expected to rise further in the inundated Houston as the flood situation in Texas is expected to worsen in the coming days.
