Yesterday there was an annular solar eclipse.

People in parts of Asia and western North America were very lucky to be able to witness the amazing and rare astronomical event.

Anyway we cannot see yesterday’s solar eclipse in Kuala Lumpur so I can only watch them on YouTube videos.

This morning an annular eclipse was seen in Asia.

An annular eclipse is a rare astronomical event.

An annular eclipse happens when moon and sun align/in straight line over the earth.

On July 22 2009 I saw the partial solar eclipse at Tengku Tengah Zaharah Mosque, Kuala Terengganu.

Three Countries Hit By Earthquakes

These are the news from CNN:

A pair of earthquakes hit Solomon Islands Monday morning, and another struck the Philippines, according to the U.S. Geological Service.

One quake, with a magnitude of 5.3, hit the Philippines at 5:38 a.m. (4:38 p.m. Sunday ET), near the eastern-most island of Mindanao, the agency reported.

The Solomon Islands experienced a 6.3-magnitude quake at 8:48 a.m. (4:48 p.m. Sunday ET), and another 7.2-magnitude tremor hit less than an hour later.

The quake shook Tajikistan’s mountainous Gorno-Badakhshan province about 7:15 a.m. local time.

The 20,000 people were left homeless in the villages of Rog and Gishkon, where 1,050 mud dwellings were destroyed, according Russia’s RIA Novosti news agency.

The U.S. Geological Survey classified the quake as a magnitude 5.3. It was centered 80 km (50 miles) north of Korough, Tajikistan, and was about 44.5 km (27.7 miles) below the Earth’s surface, the USGS said.

Earthquake is a disaster.

Earthquake can kill many people and animals.

If a strong earthquake happens in the sea it can cause a tsunami.

Tsunami is also a disaster and can kill many people and animals.

A lot of tsunamis happened in Japan.

Japan is in Asia, in the western Pacific Ocean.

Solomon Islands is near Papua New Guinea in the western Pacific Ocean.


The Philippines is in Southeast Asia in the western Pacific Ocean.


Tajikistan is in Central Asia near Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and China.


Auntie Moon’s house

I went to Auntie Moon‘s house on the way back to KL.

Auntie Moon‘s house is in Kemaman.

Kemaman is inTerengganu.

Terengganu is in Malaysia.

Malaysia is in Asia.

Asia is in planet Earth.

Auntie Moon‘s house is a very beautiful house.

It has 4 rooms.

Auntie Moon has a swing in her garden.

She also has a big plasma TV.

There is a big fish pond inside the house.

There are 3 bridges crossing the pond.

Inside the pond, there are lots of fishes.

Auntie Moon let me feed fishes.

I ate chicken rice at Auntie Moon‘s house.

The chicken rice is so tasty.

I like to visit Auntie Moon‘s house.

I like Auntie Moon because she is very nice.

I like Uncle Kamil too because he is very nice too.

Buah Duku

Buah duku  is a name of a fruit from Terengganu. Terengganu is in Malaysia. Malaysia is in Asia. Asia is in the world and Allah made the world. The duku shape is round and the colour is ochre. They are very sweet. If I bite the seed it tastes bitter. When I eat duku I swallow the seed. I like duku very much.
