Sweet, Red Malaysian Cherry

Last year I went to Kuala Ibai in Kuala Terengganu to visit Pak Ghani.

Over there I saw some cherry trees.

They are Malaysian cherries.

There are lots of ripe cherries on the trees.

Pak Ghani told me to pluck the red cherries.

The ripe cherries are red and sweet.

The cherries are soft but their skin are a bit hard 😕

Inside the fruits there are a lot of very tiny seeds.

Malaysian cherries are small, not like the cherries in USA.

Cherries in USA

There are a lot of cherry trees in Malaysia.

There are some cherry trees in Ampang Hilir Lake Garden where I jog every week 🙂

We should not pluck the fruits and flowers in the parks.

Sending Uncle Taj To KLIA

Last Saturday I woke up at 5 am.

We went to the Sudanese’s Ambassador’s house to fetch Uncle Taj (or Tag).

The house is opposite the ‘castle’ by the lake at Ampang Hilir Lake Garden.

I was going to send Uncle Taj to KLIA in Sepang.

KLIA is Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

Uncle Taj’s full name is Tag el Din el Sanosy (or Tajuddin when we say in Malay)

He is my father’s good friend from Sudan.

Uncle Taj is also Uncle Osman Mokhtar El-Mubarak’s friend.

Uncle Taj was going to Cairo, Egypt before going back to Khartoum, Sudan.

Uncle Taj is very nice and I like him very much.

I hope I can visit Uncle Taj in Sudan 🙂

I want to visit Uncle Osman, Aunty Yaman and big sister Arwa too.

I miss them very much.

Taman Tasik Ampang Hilir (Ampang Hilir Lake Garden)

Taman Tasik Ampang Hilir means Ampang Hilir Lake Garden.

It is near my house in Ampang.

The park is very beautiful.

There is big lake in the middle of the park.

And there are a lot of fishes in the lake.

There is a jogging path around the lake.

I always jog over there.

We have to go there early in the morning before it gets too hot.

I like to jog because it is fun.

After jogging I would play at the playground.

Playing at the playground is fun too :)

On Thursday my father bought me a pair of jogging shoes.

It is another present for my birthday :)

I can’t wait to jog in my new shoes.

Actually my old shoes were already too tight.

A Picnic At Taman Tasik Ampang Hilir (Ampang Hilir Lake Garden)

On 11/10/09 I went for a picnic with my father’s friends from Southern Illinois University Carbondale .

Over there I met Abang Mohammad Arif, Uncle Osman, Aunty Yaman, big sister Arwa, Uncle Raof, Pak Cik Borhan & others.

My mother cooked pasta for the picnic.

I love to eat the food that my mother cooks.

I played at the play ground & I like it when big sister Arwa pushed me on the swing.

She pushed me very hard and the swing went up very high.

I felt like falling down and took off my slippers because I was scared they would fall down into the lake.

I love my slippers and the slippers are not waterproof.

I also enjoyed climbing up something that looks like rock climbing.

After the picnic I went back home and after that we went to Cameron Highland, Pahang.

To be continued in my next post 🙂 😉
