A Great Birthday Surprise

On Wednesday, a day before my birthday, my big sisters and my father planned a birthday surprise for me, but I did not suspect anything since it was not yet my birthday.

My mother told us to get ready because we were going out but she did not tell us where we were going. I did not suspect anything and I thought that we were going out for grocery shopping.

My father drove us to the Wangsa Walk Mall which made me wonder why for it is a place that we rarely go to. We entered the mall and followed my father walking here and there and I kept on asking my mother why were we at the mall. Then after we took the elevator to the upper floor, my dad walked toward the TGV Cinemas.

I was so excited and asked my mother if my father was going to take us to a movie but my mother pretended that she has no idea about it. My father walked up the small steps towards the cinema halls while my big sister Kaman and my mother bought some big cups of popcorn and some drinks.

At that moment I knew that we were going to watch a movie but nobody wanted to tell me what movie we were going to watch. After taking the 3D glasses, we walked to one of the cinema halls, took our seats and then the lights turned off.

And at last, after lots of advertisements the movie started. It was The Lego Movie which I wanted to watch since the first time I watched its trailer last year. I was so excited!

The Lego Movie is about a Lego construction worker named Emmet. One day, he saw a stranger around the construction site. Emmet tried to investigate but fell into a hole. After falling through a long tunnel, he saw a relic and heard a voice from it, calling for him. It told Emmet to touch it and after touching it, he somehow fell unconscious and had some visions.

When he woke up, he was already in a police station and then a multi personality police officer asked him lots of questions. Then the person who he saw at the construction site saved him and told him that he is the special one and a master builder. He also discovered that the relic was to save the world.

So the rest of the movie is about Emmet’s great adventure trying to save the world with his friends, Wyldstyle, Vitruvius, Batman, Ben and Unikitty.

It was really fun, the movie was great, the popcorn was tasty and after the movie was over my big sisters told me that it was a birthday surprise for me! And we had the whole cinema hall for ourselves for there was nobody else but our family watching the movie in the hall.

Thank you, everybody. It was a real surprise and the best birthday surprise!

The Lego Movie Review

The Lego Movie was released in Malaysia on February 6, 2014.

On February 12, 2014, I watched the movie at TGV Cinemas, Wangsa Walk Mall.

It was really fun to watch the movie. There are lots and lots of funny scenes that we almost never stopped laughing throughout the whole movie. And the movie was far better than what I expected from watching the movie trailer on the internet. The best thing about watching The Lego Movie was that the movie was so entertaining that there was no boring moment at all.

Almost the whole scene was created using Lego bricks, the splashing water, fire and almost everything and they looked like real Lego. I find it very impressive to see how they created the movie using Lego character as the casts and how the animation was so real that they look just like the real Lego. They do not forget simple details like Lego figure’s hair that can be taken out from the figure’s head. So it becomes so real, like the way we play our Lego sets.

The animation is awesome and very beautiful especially with the 3D effect.

There is only one song in the movie, ‘Everything Is Awesome’, and the song is a very catchy song that we sang it all the way home after the movie.

The moral of the movie is to be creative and not only depending on manuals or instructions to do or build something. When we build things using Lego bricks, we can also build other things from the sets that we have and not only build the things that are shown in the instructions given.

But of course, I think that while it is fun to build something out of our own creativity, we must also learn to build things by following the instructions given. As in life, while being creative is good, there are times when we have to strictly follow the rules and instructions. There is no total freedom in life because if everybody is free to do anything they like, the world will be in a real mess.

Congratulations to Lego for creating such a very wonderful movie that could entertain both children and adults, either watching it alone or together with family and friends.

Disney Announces ‘Finding Dory’ To Be Released In Nov 2015.

Are you a fan of Nemo?

Disney PIXAR announces that the sequel of ‘Finding Nemo’, ‘Finding Dory’ will be released on November 25, 2015.

Disney says “Dory” will swim into theaters on November 25, 2015.

I enjoyed watching ‘Finding Nemo’ and I can’t wait to watch ‘Finding Dory’;  I hope that ‘Finding Dory’ will be not only be fun to watch but also has lots of good values and messages for kids like me 🙂

Open Season 3

I enjoyed watching

The story was about Boog who was sad because his forest friends cannot go on a trip with him.

Even Eliot cannot go; so Boog went to the trip with his teddy bear, Dinkleman.

Then Boog saw a poster about a Russian circus was nearby and he went there.

When he arrived at the circus, he met Doug the grizzly bear and Alistair the llama.

Then Doug tricked Boog so that he can get away from the circus.

Doug fixed Boog’s fur so that Boog looked like him.

Doug went to Boog’s place and he made himself looked like Boog.

When Boog’s forest friends met Doug, they thought that Doug was Boog.

They were happy to see him but after a while Doug became very bossy and he claimed that he was the king of the jungle.

Boog’s forest friends told Doug that it was not a jungle but it was a forest.

Eliot’s daughters, Gisela and Geselita found out that Doug was not Boog, so they asked Dani and Serge to find their mom, Giselle.

Meanwhile Mr. Weenie and his pet friends were watching the circus on TV.

When they saw Doug, they thought it was Boog.

They thought Boog was in danger and decided to save him.

Boog’s forest friends also went to the circus to save Boog after they found out that Doug was not Boog.

It was very funny when Mr. Weenie and the pets tried to save Boog together with Boog’s forest friends.

That was the part that I enjoyed the best 🙂

Anyway my prediction of the plot and the protagonist of Open Season 3 were wrong.

After watching Open Season 2, I predicted that in Open Season 3 Mr. Weenie will try to escape to go back to his forest friends and becomes the protagonist of the movie.

Mr. Anthony Angrywolf was right; in his comments he said that Boog will be the protagonist as in Open Season 1.

And Doug is the antagonist of Open Season 3.

Pity Mr. Weenie because once again he was not chosen to be the protagonist.

I think Open Season 3 will be more fun to watch if there are more nice songs like those written by Mr. Josh Selig.

WALL-E

WALL-E is a robot.

WALL-E picks rubbish.

WALL-E lives on Earth with his cockroach pet.

WALL-E means:

W – Waste

A – Allocation

L – Load

L – Lifter

E – Earth – Class

There were too much rubbish on Earth because people threw rubbish everywhere.

Nobody lives on Earth anymore.

People went to the space and lived there for hundreds of years.

People can come home only if they can find a plant on planet Earth.

One day WALL-E found a plant.

Then Eve came to planet Earth.

WALL-E met Eve.

WALL-E called Eve – “Eevaa”.

WALL-E gave Eve the plant.

Eve kept the plant and then Eve hibernated.

A space ship took Eve back to space.

WALL-E call out ” Eevaaaa” and hang to the space ship.

They went on a funny adventure in space to give the plant to the Captain.

At last everybody came back home to planet Earth.

The Captain planted the plant on the Earth.

I like WALL-E because it is very,very,very,very funny.

I think we should not throw rubbish everywhere.

We should plant lots of trees.

We should take care of planet Earth.

If not landslide will happen like in Bukit Antarabangsa.

I also think that we should not hit trolleys like WALL-E ; if not they will chase us🙂

Open Season 2

I enjoyed watching  .

The movie was about a pet dog named Mr. Weenie.

Mr. Weenie ran from his owner and lived in the forest with his new friends.

Mr. Weenie’s owners were Bob and Bobbie.

His owners put lots of bone biscuits in the forest.

Mr. Weenie ate all the biscuits and his owners found him.

Elliot shouted because Bobbie caught Mr. Weenie.

Elliot, Boog, Mc Squizzy, porcupine, Serge & Deni went into the caravan to save Mr. Weenie.

But when Elliot counted who were there, porcupine & Mr. Weenie were not there because:

1. porcupine was stuck to the caravan door.

2. Mr. Weenie couldn’t get out from the caravan.

Elliot, Boog, Mc Squizzy, Giselle, Serge & Deni went on a long adventure to save Mr Weenie.

At last they saved Mr. Weenie.

But Mr. Weenie didn’t want to follow his forest friend.

Mr Weenie wanted to stay with his owners because he loved them very much.

Bobbie was very happy.

The best part was when a cat splashed out from the building under the water slide.

It was funny.

And I also like the part when they sing, “Close To You”.

I think in Open Season 3, Mr. Weenie and Bobbie will be fighting because Mr. Weenie wanted to go back to his forest friends but Bobbie wanted Mr. Weenie to stay with her.

James Bond’s Car Collection

James Bond 007 cars’ collection are very beautiful.

I have all of the James Bond’s cars.

There are 2 Aston Martins, 1 Lotus Esprit, 1 Sunbeam Alpine 5 and 1 BMW Z3 Roadster.

James Bond used Aston Martin DBS in QUANTUM OF SOLACE.

James Bond used Aston Martin DB5 in GOLDFINGER.

James Bond used Lotus Esprit in THE SPY WHO LOVED ME.

James Bond used Sunbeam Alpine 5 in DR. NO.

James Bond used BMW Z3 Roadster in  GOLDENEYE.

I love to play with the James Bond’s cars.

The best is the Lotus Esprit because it can float on water.

But I have never watched the James Bond 007 movies.

My father watched some of them.

I think in Terengganu James Bond is Jeng Bong.

I went to Atuk Man’s Shell Station in Kuala Terengganu to buy the cars.

Atuk Man is my mother’s father’s cousin.

Atuk Man is Dato’ Amar’s son.

Dato’ Amar was Terengganu’s Chief Minister long, long, long time ago.
