Pameran Artifak Rasulullah S.A.W. Dan Para Sahabat R.A. PWTC

Poster Pameran Artifak Rasulullah S.A.W. Dan Para Sahabat RA

Alhamdulillah, dua hari yang lepas saya berkesempatan mengunjungi Pameran Artifak Rasulullah S.A.W.

A Visit To Pusat Sains Negara (Part 2) In Photos

The main hall of Pusat Sains Negara.

Please click here to read about my visit to the National Science Centre.

My big sisters and I near the entrance to the ‘Future World’.

I trying hard to fly the helicopter with the help of my big sister Kashah at the ‘Flight ‘ section.

I was pumping hard to launch the rocket.

At the ‘Eureka’ , my big sister and I are trying to get the ball down the hole.

Nice music…at ‘Eureka’.

I’m operating the ‘crane’. This is really fun.

Got it! I really enjoy operating the ‘crane’.

At the ‘Pathway To Science’ with my big sister Kafah.

Moving the balls trough this machine is really fun and it teaches us about how simple machine works.

We have to work together to get balls moves throughout the whole machine…

The ‘Wonderspark’ section is also amazing.

Jumping and shouting under the ‘Echo Dome’.

Stepping on the special ‘buttons’ to ‘activate’ the ‘Musical Fountain’.

A Visit To Pusat Sains Negara

Recently, I went to Pusat Sains Negara or National Science Centre for the ‘Dinosaurs Live!’ exhibition.

Entering the ‘Dinosaurs Live!’ exhibition.

There were lots of dinosaurs (fake ones) around such as Stegosaurus, Tyrannosaurus Rex (T-rex) and lots more!

But I am sad because the dinosaur exhibition was not as exciting as I expected.

The dinosaurs are able to move their bodies, eyes and tongues, but they do not look as alive as in my imagination.

Anyway there are lots of exciting and educational activities at the Pusat Sains Negara.

First we walked under Malaysia’s first overhead aquarium.

With my big sister Kafah at the aquarium.

Next we watched the ‘Science Demonstration’ and after that I had lots of fun at  ‘Eureka’ such as walking through the ‘mirror maze’, jumping on the ‘air bounce bed’ and lots more of other activities.

I(third from left) volunteered on stage during the Science Show.

I’m jumping on the ‘air bounce bed’. It was really fun.

We also took part in the activities at the ‘Wonderspark’, ‘Pathway To Science’, ‘Flight’, ‘Thinking Machine’ and others.

Riding on the propeller aeroplane at the ‘Flight’ section.

There are so much of interesting things that we could do over there.

I was looking through the periscope.

On the ‘Moonwalker’.

So, even though the ‘Dinosaurs Live!’ exhibition was not really fun for me but  I had so much fun and learning a lot of new things about science at the Pusat Sains Negara 🙂

I hope to go there again because there are lots of activities that I do not have the chance to try.

Nilaicitra’12

On Thursday, March 22, 2012, I went to Galeri Shah Alam for the UNISEL’s Nilaicitra’12

My photo at the Galeri Shah Alam after the opening ceremony of Nilaicitra'12.

Nilaicitra means ‘value of image’.

It exhibited the final projects of UNISEL Art And Design’s students.

The program was officiated by Datin Paduka Shuhaimi Baba of Pesona Pictures Sdn. Bhd.

Uncle Adnan Othman also joined us to the program.

Uncle Adnan Othman(R) was chatting with my father after the event.

We visited the exhibition halls and saw lots of beautiful photographs, digitally drawn pictures and other beautiful stuff.

We visited Abang Ibrahim’s booth and saw the photos that he took at our house

This photo was snapped by Uncle Ibrahim

It was very nice to meet Uncle Prof. Dato’ Raja Zahabuddin, Atuk Prof. Hashim and Uncle Ibrahim Bujal again.

The food that they served was very delicious.

I really enjoyed the my time over there.

Stamp Fair In PJ

My mother(L) and I(middle) was searching for beautiful stamps at the stamp fair with another stamp collector (R).

We went to a stamp fair in Petaling Jaya on Saturday, June 12, 2011.

It was held at the Perpustakaan Komuniti Petaling Jaya or Petaling Jaya Community Library.

There were a lot of beautiful and colourful stamps at the fair.

I bought a lot lovely ‘Olympics stamps’, stamps on space travels, animals and many others from Uncle Haji Mohamed Abdullah.

I also bought some Spanish stamps to complete my collection.

I started to collect Spanish stamps after Pak Cik Amin gave me some colourful Spanish stamps.

And I was very happy because I found a stamp with a picture of Yuri Gagarin!

Uncle Haji Mohamed Abdullah is a stamp dealer from Penang (Pulau Pinang).

Anyway, big sister Kaman bought a lot more stamps than me 😐

There was a colouring contest, lucky draws and stamp display by the Philatelic Society Of Malaysia at the stamp fair.

My big sister Kaman won one of the lucky draws.

The prize was a key chain.

During the last stamp fair, I won two first day covers.

I love to go to stamps fairs because I love stamps 🙂

Before And After Photos: Devastation Of The Joplin, Missouri Tornado

These photos(from AP) are of Joplin, Missouri before and after the powerful tornado(twister) tore the city.

At least 132 people were killed and more than 900 people were injured.

By Friday, about 156 people were still missing.

The tornado that hit Joplin on Sunday was rated an EF-5 or the strongest possible.

It scored a direct hit on the city of 50,000 people in southwest Missouri and left a swath of destruction nearly a mile wide, damaging some 8,000 buildings.

It is reportedly the worst single tornado in modern US history.

I am very sad to see the photos.

So many people are suffering and there are children missing during the disaster.

I pray that they will be okay.

Pameran Bahan-Bahan Rasullalah SAW & Kerajaan Turki Uthmaniyah

Last week I went to the ‘Pameran Bahan-Bahan Rasullalah SAW & Kerajaan Turki Uthmaniyah’.

The exhibition was held at Masjid Wilayah Persekutuan, Jalan Duta, Kuala Lumpur.

The exhibition exhibits pictures of wonderful things from the Ottoman Empire and also things related to the Prophet Muhammad SAW.

Unfortunately I cannot see the real things because they are at the Tokapi Museum in Istanbul, Turkey.

The Tokapi Museum, Istanbul, Turkey.

I saw the pictures of the ‘wing of the door of repentance’, the bow of the Prophet Muhammad SAW with its silver holder and other great things.

We spent about 2 hours over there.

I enjoyed myself at the exhibition because over there I saw pictures of lots of wonderful historical things from Turkey.

I wish to go to Turkey so that I can see the real historical things at the Tokapi Museum.

Inaugural Stamps and Philately Exhibition At Muzium Negara

On 10 Feb, 2011 I went to a stamp exhibition.

The exhibition was held at the Muzium Negara (National Museum), Kuala Lumpur.

My sister Kafah and I on the way to the exhibition hall.

There were lots of stamps at the exhibition.

The exhibition hall.

Over there, I saw the Penny Black and other stamps with picture of Penny Black.

Penny Black was the world’s first adhesive postage stamp.

A photo of the Penny Black.

Since the theme of the exhibition was ‘World of Flora and Fauna’ there were mostly flowers, plants and animals stamps at the exhibition.

The stamps were beautiful and colourful.

I love Penny Black the most because Penny Black was the first stamp in the world.

There were lots of stamps and and things that are related to the postal service at the exhibition.

There were also very old mailbox, old weighing scales, an old postman bicycle, old postmark machine and other things related to the postal service in the past.

And I also saw the longest stamp in Malaysia.

An old postman bicycle.

We spent almost 3 hours at the exhibition.

I enjoyed myself at the exhibition because I could see lots and lots of beautiful, old and new stamps from all over the world.

Kafah and I at the Muzium Negara.
