Yesterday was Professor Muhammad Al-Mahdi’s birthday.
He was born on April 5, 1943
He died on 29 April 2006
He was a very clever and good man.
He was the founder of Khalifah Institute.
He wrote books on how to be a a good person.
Being a khalifah means to be a good person.
To be a good khalifah we must:
Make ourselves good.
Help others to be good.
To make ourselves good we must be a good person, work very hard, study hard, do not play too much, do not spend our time on empty fun, do not hurt other people and be good to everybody around us.
We must help other people to be good people and not fighting with each other.
We must stop the wars, stop littering, stop the global warming and stop making other human disasters.
Brother Muhammad taught me not to watch stories with empty fun, bad value and fighting like SpongeBob, Doraemon, Ultraman, Spiderman, Mr. Bean and others.
We should watch stories like Barney and Friends, Dora The Explorer, Go Diego Go, Sesame Street and others that teach us good value and other good stuffs.
I love Brother Muhammad very much.
I am sad because he died.
A 7.2 magnitude earthquake struck at 3:40 pm PT ( 6:40 pm ET ) on Sunday about 110 miles east-southeast of Tijuana, Mexico.
Earthquake is a natural disaster.
In Mexicali roads were cracked and buildings were damaged.
The electricity were cut off in Mexicali.
Mexicali is the capital of Baja California state in Mexico.
2 people were killed and about 100 people injured in the quake.
One man was killed because a building collapsed on him.
Another man was killed because he was hit by a car as he ran to the street from his house.
People in Arizona and southern California felt the earthquake.
There are aftershocks after the earthquake.
I hope that the aftermath of this earthquake won’t be as bad as in the 7.0 earthquake in Haiti and the 8.8 magnitude earthquake in Chile.
California is in the Pacific Ring Of Fire.
I think people in the Pacific Ring Of Fire should build buildings that are strong and won’t be damaged by earthquakes.
Last week my mother bought a pineapple with two crowns from Carrefour.
The pineapple was very sweet and juicy.
It was really yummy!
It is the sweetest pineapple that I had ever eaten.
The flesh was yellow and the skin was orange in colour.
The crowns are green.
There are a lot of pineapples in Malaysia.
Some pineapples are sweet but some are sour.
We can eat fresh pineapple, make pineapple juice, cook them, make pineapple ice cream, vitamins and so on.
The sweet pineapple is one of my favourite fruits.
I think pineapples with two crowns will be very sweet.
Yesterday, I went to the Masjid Al-Hidayah for my Friday Prayer.
This is the first time I perform my Friday Prayer.
We perform the Friday prayer on every Friday at the mosques all over the world.
Masjid Al-Hidayah is very near to my house.
The mosque was full during the Friday Prayer.
I always go to this mosque.
There are a lot of mosques in Kuala Lumpur.
I’m happy to perform my Friday Prayer because I feel like I’m already a big boy 🙂
Last year I went to Kuala Ibai in Kuala Terengganu to visit Pak Ghani.
Over there I saw some cherry trees.
They are Malaysian cherries.
There are lots of ripe cherries on the trees.
Pak Ghani told me to pluck the red cherries.
The ripe cherries are red and sweet.
The cherries are soft but their skin are a bit hard 😕
Inside the fruits there are a lot of very tiny seeds.
Malaysian cherries are small, not like the cherries in USA.
There are a lot of cherry trees in Malaysia.
There are some cherry trees in Ampang Hilir Lake Garden where I jog every week 🙂
We should not pluck the fruits and flowers in the parks.
On Saturday 27/3/2010, I went to an Esso–Mobil petrol station’s carnival.
Last time Esso and Mobil are different companies.
The petrol station is between KPJ Ampang Puteri Hospital and Flamingo Hotel in Jalan Ampang.
There were lucky draws, free balloons, foods, drinks, a clown, colouring contest and others at the carnival.
My father bought a Mobil 1 motor oil and I get a white Porsche Boxster Collecters Series free.
I got three balloons.
And we won a BIG hamper from the lucky draw!
Then we went to a wedding in Petaling Jaya.
Over there I met the Chief Minister (Menteri Besar) of Selangor.
His name is Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim.
He is from PKR or Parti Keadilan Rakyat.
Tonight we celebrated Earth Hour by switching off the lights, television sets, computers, fans and other electrical appliance from 8:30pm to 9:30 pm.
Anyway I switched on a little light 🙂
I was very scared if the burglars would come to my house if it was too dark, especially my father was out for a meeting.
Earth Hour started in 2007 in Sydney, Australia.
Earth Hour is to save our earth by saving the electricity.
Switching off the electricity shows that we want to fight the global warming.
Global warming makes the world gets hotter and hotter.
It caused the ice on the mountains and in Alaska and other places in the north and south of the earth to melt.
This is the disaster!
I hope a lot of people will switch off the electricity during Earth Hour.
I wonder if my father was having his meeting in the dark during Earth Hour ❓
