Be Fair, Facebook

It has been three days since I realised that my blog had been blocked by Facebook. And as of this moment, despite my report to Facebook regarding this matter I haven’t received a single response from the Facebook team. This means I can no longer share my blog posts on Facebook until they retract the block and unblock my blog.

I feel deeply saddened by this unjust act. Unlike what was suggested by Facebook, my blog is not a spam nor malicious. Indeed it is a malicious act to suggest and accuse that my blog is a spam and doesn’t follow Facebook’s Community Standards. I had started this blog over 10 years ago where I share my ideas, fiction writings, poems, news and also stories of my life. My blog reflects my life journey, how I grow up from a 5 year old blogger to a 15 year old blogger as I am today. The action was taken by Facebook after I wrote an analysis on an article written by activist Siti Zabedah, who wrote the article in her column in The Star about her ideas of the Malays and Muslims in Malaysia. Is an analytical writing is considered malicious and must be blocked? This action is against the human right and freedom of speech that I suppose is supported by Facebook. I really hope that the Facebook team will review the report and investigate the matter fairly. It is unfair for such a huge organisation like Facebook to block a 15 year old blogger from voicing out his opinions, and suggested that my ideas are spams and malicious. I find this act as a bully. It is also unfair for them to ignore my report, and acted that as if I myself, am a spam.
