On Saturday, I met Ustaz Mohd Fadhly Hasbullah, who is known as Ustaz Manis at the waiting room of TV Al Hijrah while waiting for my turn to enter the studio.
Ustaz Manis performs on Astro Oasis but since we do not subscribe to any cable tv, I’ve never seen his performance before.
It is very interesting that apart from being a nasyid singer, Ustaz Manis is also an Additional Mathematics and Islamic Studies teacher, a motivator, a composer and a song writer.
We had a long talk where he asked me lots of questions, gave me lots of advice and teasingly calls me Adik Sweet.
He is a wonderful person and I enjoyed talking to him very much.
Ustaz Manis even gave me his new CD complete with his signature.
It was nice to meet him and I hope that I can meet him again soon.
