NaPoWriMo Poem #5: A Story Of Six Little Birds

5 04 2015

Six little birds,
Playing near a hive,
One chased away,
And then left five.

Five little birds,
Running on the floor,
One fell down,
And then left four.

Four little birds,
Sitting on a tree,
One tripped and fell,
And then left three.

Three little birds,
Playing in a shoe,
One got stuck,
And then left two.

Two little birds,
Eating cinnamon bun,
One choke on the bun,
And then left one.

One little bird,
Was having some fun,
It hit a brick wall,
And there left none.
