My Lost Kite

The smooth, hot sand,
Soft, under my feet,
Fresh prawns and crabs,
So tasty, for me to eat.

I strolled all around,
The white, sandy beach,
I saw my lost kite,
Up the tree where I can’t reach.

I wonder, how could I,
Get back my kite,
Then the wind blew it down,
And I caught it with delight.
