So Much To Learn From Two Little Frogs

The clever frog used a makeshift ‘umbrella’ to stop its partner getting wet (Caters)

These red eyed tree frogs were caught on camera by amateur photographer Kutub Uddin, 27, in his back garden in Bognor Regis, West Sussex.

The photos show the cute frogs use a leaf as an umbrella to keep them dry from the rain.

They are so nice to each other and even share the same leaf so that they both won’t get wet.

But what I don’t understand is, why humans who are smarter than animals can sometimes be so mean to one another.

There are people who cheat, humiliate and even kill each other.

Humans should do better and not worse than animals.

Or do we want animals to be better than us?

Malaysian Student In Nottingham Stabbed Multiple Times

The Star reported that a Malaysian student, Ahmad Izat Ahmad Nazmi, was mugged by a trio of juveniles as he was walking alone Monday evening.

The trio were believed to be aged between eight and 14 years.

Ahmad Izat Ahmad Nazmi who is an Industrial Economy student at the Nottingham University, was stabbed multiple times after he chased them and fought to recover his belongings.

It was also reported that passers-by and residents in the area heard his pleas for help but ignored him.

A good Samaritan helped him to call the police, who took him to a hospital, where he needed 11 stitches for his wounds.

PERODUA MyVi Plunged From Fourth Floor

The PERODUA MyVi plunged from the fourth floor parking unit into the Star City Complex – NST

A man was badly injured after the PERODUA MyVi he was driving plunged from the fourth floor parking unit into the Star City Complex in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah this morning.

The NST reported that the incident happened at about 7.30 a. m. when the driver was about to park his car.

He was then rushed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

My sisters and I were stunned when we saw this!

Then, we had a good laugh.

Photos: 30 Years Of The Apple Mac

The Macintosh TV – released in 1993 – was an ill-fated attempt to combine the increasingly popular home computer market with a traditional television. It came with a CD-drive and a TV tuner card, and was one of the only Macs ever produced in black. Ultimately, however, it did not prove popular, largely because users couldn’t switch easily between watching television and other programmes. Only 10,000 were made.

In 1984, on January 24th, Apple released the first Macintosh home computer.

It was a revelation – mainly for its incorporation of a graphical display when its rivals could only display text.

The following year, founder Steve Jobs left the company.

Apple continued to make progress with innovative machines, but only after his return in 1996, that Apple’s computers began to achieve the popularity and recognition with new, design-led strategy – Yahoo News.

The first iMac of the modern generation, this saw Apple revert to an all-in-one configuration – the difference this time being that, unusually and impressively, the entire computer was housed within the flatscreen unit just two inches thick.

The Mac II was, as the name suggests, the next generation computer from Apple (although several iterations of the Mac I had been released). New out in 1987, it was the first Mac to come as a separate screen and desktop unit, and was the first to display colour, at a resolution of 640×480. The CPU speed was just 16Mhz, and the maximum RAM had risen to 20MB.

In 1989, Apple released the Mac Portable, its first ‘laptop’ computer. It weighed 7.16kg, measured 38cm by 37cm by 10cm, had a 40MB hard drive and a floppy disk drive. It also included a mono speaker. The active matrix screen made it hugely expensive: $6,500.

The current flagship iMac – released in 2009 and updated last year. It is a whopping 27 inches across, comes with 8GB of RAM and a 3 terabyte hard drive. It’s also only 5mm thin at the edges – a long way from its ancestor the iMac G5, let alone the original Macs.

The first Apple Mac – called simply the Macintosh – was released on January 24th, 1984. It had 128 kilobytes of RAM – a modern day iMac has 65536 times as much. It was the first computer in the world to feature a Graphical User Interface – displaying anything other than lines of text on a screen. It cost $2495, and was replaced within eight months by a version with 512Kb of RAM.

The Mac Plus fixed a lot of the early glitches with the Macintosh – upping the RAM to 1MB and included a SCSI port, which would allow users to connect other devices such as a printer. It originally came in beige – pictured – but later was the first Mac to switch to the smarter ‘platinum’ grey.

The Star reported that Selangor State Speaker Hannah Yeoh made an announcement at a press conference at 5pm saying that Kajang assemblyman Lee Chin Cheh has resigned from the Selangor Legislative Assembly today.

Hannah Yeoh officially declared the N25 Kajang seat vacant.

The Star wrote that:

The resignation of Lee, better known as CC Lee in PKR, is believed to be connected to mounting speculation that Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is being lined up to replace Khalid as Selangor Mentri Besar.

Will Anwar Ibrahim, who failed to become the Prime Minister after the 13th General Election, become the next MB of Selangor?

Above is a screenshot of an article by a pro-Pakatan portal, MalayisaKini with a photo of PKR’s Nurul Izzah.

I first saw the above screenshot on Helen Ang’s blog entitled, ‘Watch the Dapster mob in action’ and I was shocked to see the photo.

I wonder why did MalaysiaKini published the photo; because in the photo, Nurul Izzah looks as if she is ‘praying’, and I wrote to Aunty Helen to ask her opinion.

As a pro-Pakatan portal, I don’t think that MalaysiaKini did that to humiliate Nurul Izzah.

In fact, MalaysiaKini has always been supporting her.

Renaissance Paintings Brought To Life By Rino Stefano Tagliafierro

‘The Nut Gatherer’ — William Adolphe Bourguereau(RSTagliafierro GIF)

Italian experimental artist and animator Rino Stefano Tagliafierro has brought paintings to life in animated GIFs.

Using Adobe After Effects animation software, he takes paintings (largely from the Renaissance era) and modifies them slightly to make them appear as if they are moving.

It is very interesting how the animator could turned a still painting into an awesome moving painting.
