The authorities had closed the main road to Puncak Setiawangsa and now the residents can use the alternative road that was built by the authorities.

The Malay Mail reported that a Bernama survey last night found DBKL mobilising the relevant machinery since 7pm to remove the rubble from the landslide.

The land that was exposed by the landslide had been covered with canvas to avoid erosion, especially if it rains.

Yesterday the authorities decided that the badly damaged bungalow caused by the Friday night landslide will be demolished to avoid further disaster.

The affected residents from the bungalows, terrace houses and shop houses that have been ordered to evacuate their buildings were busy moving out from the area.

It is reported that there are still movements in the ground around the area and it could be more dangerous if it rains.
