On the first day of the Seminar Dakwah Nasional, we were very busy getting ready for the arrival of the Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) of Malaysia, YAB Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin to officiate the seminar.
As the DPM entered the Dewan Merdeka, every body stood up.
I was very lucky as I was given a special permission to greet the DPM as he entered the hall.

I was looking at the DPM as he walked to the stage when somebody shook my hand while hugging me and when I turned around I was so surprised to see Uncle Nasharudin Mat Isa.
Uncle Nasharudin was part of the DPM’s entourage so we cannot talk to each other, anyway he greeted me while I was busy snapping the photo of the DPM receiving a special souvenir from Dr. Aiman Zaidan (which was a gift from a renowned Muslim scholar, Dr. Yusuf AL-Qaradawi). >>Please click here<<
So, when I met Uncle Nasha again the next day (for he’s going to present a paper at the seminar) I got the chance to ask him some political questions.
When I asked him, “Why do some Muslim leaders regard politics as more important than Islam?”, he said that he’ll answer it during his speech.
But politicians are politicians, Uncle Nasha answered my question by asking the question in another way to the audience!
After Uncle Nasha presented his papers at the seminar, all the media teams crowded him to ask him questions and the interview was reported by all the main medias especially the on-line medias until today and caused all kind of reactions from the leaders of the opposition parties especially his party, PAS and its ally, DAP!

I am very proud to be there watching the important interview and hearing the answers first hand.
I was very happy to meet Uncle Nasha and to have tea with him at Dewan Tun Abdul Razak after the seminar.

There are more important questions that I asked Uncle Nasha but I think that they are too private so I can’t reveal the answers in my blog even thought Uncle Nasha did not tell me not to do so 🙂
I think that it is not easy to ask ‘sensitive’ and ‘private’ political questions to politicians like Uncle Nasharudin Mat Isa 😉
