Sultan Not Invited To Selangor Merdeka Celebration, Who’s Fault?

Reciting the Rukun Negara at the event. The guess of honour was Datuk Ser Anwar Ibrahim.

The Selangor PR State Government didn’t invite the Selangor Ruler, the Sultan of Selangor to the official Selangor Merdeka celebration.

It caused headlines and PR started to blame others 🙂

(I was shown this post, please click hear to read the post).

So why did the Menteri Besar does not invite the Sultan? ❓

The Selangor Menteri Besar political secretary, Faekah Husin was asked about this issue.

She said…

This image is from Blog MIK.

Does PR thinks that Sultans must ask for an invitation to attend their own states’ official functions from their state governments?

Doesn’t PR understand about states protocols?

Has PR forgotten about our Rukun Negara and our Federal Constitutions?

People said that PR does not want our sultans anymore.

Is it true that PR wants to turn Malaysia to a republic?

An Exciting Day

Sunday, August 2, 2012 was a very exciting day.

First I attended Uncle Datuk Kamaruddin Mohd Nor’s open house.

I was taking to Uncle  Kamaruddin (L) some political questions.

Uncle Kamaruddin is a politician, he used to be the Pasir Puteh’s assemblyman.

Over there I met Uncle Datuk Rameli Musa and his wife.

My photo with Uncle Rameli Musa (R) and his wife at Uncle Kamaruddin’s house.

I ate very tasty roti jala with curry and my parents said that the nasi dagang Terengganu that was cooked by Uncle Kamaruddin’s daughter, Kak Sumayyah was very, very, very good.

I asked Uncle Kamaruddin about the Janji Bersih’s new flag issue.

He explained that we must love and be proud of our flag and should not change our flag.

We have to understand that there are things that we could change but there are things we should not.

The Americans do not change their flag every time the Democrats or Republicans wins the election; and people of the United Kingdom do not change their Union Jack even if who ever wins the election.

I think that Uncle Kamaruddin is a very good and wise man who loves his country.

I asked him if he will become a candidate in the 13th General Election, he teased me saying that he will if I want him to do so 🙂

Next I went to Uncle Mohd Annuar Salleh’s son’s wedding at Dewan Perdana Keramat.

I (L) and Uncle Mohd Annuar Salleh (R).

I only ate two slices of  sweet water melon because I was too full after eating lots of delicious food at Uncle Kamaruddin’s house.

I met Uncle Nasir Zihni, Uncle Raja Ahmad Aminullah, Uncle Sidek Baba, Uncle Aslam and lots more.

Me (L), Uncle Zih (C) and Uncle Halim (R).
Me (L) and Uncle Raja Ahmad Aminullah (R).

I asked Uncle Sidek Baba questions about politics.

He explained that politicians must do lots of things for the people and the country and take care of the country.

He invited me to his house so that we can have longer discussions 🙂

Malaysian Medical Students Killed In Russian Accident

Please click here for the latest update: Bodies Of Russian Accident Victims Laid To Rest In Their Hometowns.

(News Update: Bodies Of M’sian Students Killed In Russia To Arrive Home Thursday)

Seven Malaysian medical students were involved in a road accident in the Vladimirskaya region, Russia at about 11pm on September 2, 2012.

They were travelling from the Moscow Airport to Nizhny when the minibus they were in collided with a similar vehicle after spending Hari Raya in Malaysia.

Hanisah Muhd Shah died on the spot while Adzreen Binyati died on the way to the hospital.

Hanisah Muhd Shah was a MARA-sponsored student from Dungun, Terengganu while Adzreen Binyati was a JPA sponsored student from Putrajaya.

The injured students are MARA-sponsored students Siti Nadiah Abdullah Sani, Nurul Amirah Mohd Nor, Nor Hidayah Jailuddin, Nur Liyana Kamarul Bahrin and Siti Romeza Abdul Reza.

They are being treated at a hospital in Vladimirskaya.

All of them are Nizhny Novgorod State Medical Academy fifth-year medical students.

I am very sad and sorry for the victims, their families and friends.

A New Malaysian Flag – A Sign Of PR’s Revolution?

After the  Janji Bersih’s new flag for Malaysia incident, I had the chance to discuss the matter with a lawyer and a politician.

Please click here for: ‘Janji Bersih: Are They Trying To Make Malaysia A Republic?’

The demonstrators showing their new flag during the Janji Bersih demonstration.

When I met Uncle Naser Disa who is a lawyer on Friday, I asked him if it is okay to put up a new flag and suggesting the idea to change the Malaysian flag during our Merdeka celebration?

He answered that the action is wrong and those people should not do it if they respect the law and love our country.

He also said that it is not a good idea to change our flag.

And when I asked him if ‘disrespecting the flag’ is a humiliation to the country, he said,’Yes’.

On Sunday when I went to Uncle Kamaruddin Mohd. Nor’s  house, I asked him if it is all right to change our flag.

(Please click here for: An Exciting Day)

I (R) was asking Uncle Kamaruddin (L) questions about the ‘new flag incident’.

He said that we should not change our flag.

He explained that there are things that can be changed but there are things that should not be changed.

For example, the Americans don’t change their flag and so do the people of the United Kingdom who are proud of their Union Jack.

Uncle Kamaruddin said we must love and respect our flag.

So, why did some people try to change our flag?

I guess only Janji Bersih and PR who wants the new flag and they even have a name for the flag, Sang Saka Malaya. Please read here ,  here and here.

My question is, since Libya has a new flag after the revolution, is PR ready to start a revolution by introducing the new flag?

And does PR wants Malaysia to be a ‘Republik Malaysia’?
