Neil Armstrong Died At 82

Neil Armstrong passed away on August 7, 2012.

He died two days after his 82 birthday on August 5, 2012.

Armstrong commanded the Apollo 11 spacecraft that landed on the moon July 20, 1969.

A statement from the family says he died following complications resulting from cardiovascular procedures.
