Ecuador’s Tungurahua Volcano Erupts (Photos)

There is an increased activity at the Tungurahua volcano in Ecuador.

It is already releasing ash and lava.

The Tungurahua volcano has been in an active state since October 1999.

    1. Dear NoTingles,
      Yes, there is a great deal of seismic and volcanic activities all around the world these days. I am not very sure but may be the earth plates are not very stable after the major movements during the major earthquakes. I read that a lot of volcanoes which are due and even over due for eruption and when these happens, suddenly we see too many volcanic activities. And with the internet, people from around the world can see what is happening on the other part of the world and even on islands far away. So, we learn about more things and read more news that in the old times we might not be able to find out even when there are earthquakes or volcanic activities far away from us if it is not reported by our newspapers :mrgreen:
