Mohamed Mursi, Egypt’s First Islamist President Sworn In

Egypt’s first Islamist president, Mohamed Mursi, was sworn in on Saturday June 30, 2012.

Mohamed Mursi is Egypt’s fifth  president.

He’s from the Freedom and Justice Party.

He was a member of the Guidance Office of the Muslim Brotherhood until the founding of the Freedom and Justice Party in 2011.

I hope that the new president can put Egypt in order again and fulfill his promises to the people of Egypt.

Photos: Rare Cloud Formation In Regina, Saskatchewan

CBC News reported that a cloud formation called a mammatus appeared in the skies above Regina and area following a thunderstorm Tuesday night, June 26, 2012.

Regina is the capital city of Saskatchewan in Canada.

This is a rare atmospheric phenomenon.

Mammatus or mammatocumulus looks something like cotton balls, puffs and bubbles.

I think it looks spooky 🙂

I love to look at the clouds and try to identify their types but I have never seen mammatus.

The types of clouds that we see can give us some clues about the weather of the day.

The UEFA EURO 2012 final match between Spain and Italy will be held at the Olympic Stadium, Kiev, Ukraine on July 1, 2012.

Italy beats Germany 2-1 on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at the National Stadium in Warsaw, Poland.

The goals were scored by:

Germany vs Italy 0-1 ( Mario Balotelli goal vs Italy 20′)
Germany vs Italy 0-2 ( Mario Balotelli second goal vs Italy 36′)
Germany vs Italy 1-2 ( Mesut Ozil penalty vs Italy 90+2′)

So, Italy will advances to UEFA EURO 2012 final together with Spain.

Is PAS Still An Islamic Party?

After reading about PAS continues to adhere to PR’s Orange Book from AIDC, I started to think if the name Parti Islam Se-Malaysia still fits PAS.

An Islamic party must follow the Quran and not the Orange Book.

PAS tells the Muslims that PAS follows the Quran and still fights for the Islamic law.

But PAS leaders also made statements that PAS continues to adhere the Orange Book.

Al-Quran is the Muslims’ holy book but the Orange Book has nothing to do with Islam!

So, who are PAS trying to cheat?

PAS supports the LGBT rights, ‘murtad’, liberalism and pluralism fighters.

PAS did not let PAS members join HIMPUN but told them that it is ‘wajib’ to join Bersih 3.0.

And PAS says that everybody has the rights to call their gods Allah.

So how could PAS still claims that they are fighting for Islam?

PAS should be happy when Datuk Seri Najib Tun Abdul Razak said that the government will fight against LGBT, Liberalism and Pluralism; but PAS did not support him.

PAS should offer advices, ideas and helps even if PAS does not like Datuk Seri Najib, because Muslims should help each other to protect Islam.

But instead, PAS said bad things towards Datuk Seri Najib for making the promises.

I used to love PKR and PAS because I think that they are Islamic and fair.

But now I know who they actually are.

So, what does the letters P,A and S in PAS really stands for?

Central And Northern Florida Floods (Tropical Storm Debby)-Photos

Tropical Storm Debby had moved out into the open Atlantic Ocean on Wednesday June 27, 2012.

It caused flood, sinkholes, and overflowing rivers in central and northern Florida.

Anclote River rised from nine feet before the storm to major flood level of 27 feet on Tuesday.

Roads were closed because they were flooded.

Thousands of people had to move out from their flooded houses.

Rare Ten-Petaled Rafflesia

Rafflesia is the biggest flower in the world.

Rafflesia is a genus of parasitic flowering plants.

The flower usually has five petals.

Anyway, on Saturday June 23, 2012 a rare ten-petaled Rafflesia female flower was found at the Sungai Gadong, Taman Negeri Royal Belum, Gerik, West Malaysia.

The diameter of the flower is 46cm.

Last year a seven-petaled Rafflesia was found at the Taman Negeri Royal Belum, West Malaysia while a six-petaled Rafflesia was found in Sarawak, East Malaysia.

Ancient Road Uncovered In Greece

Excavations for Thessaloniki’s new subway system unearthed marble-paved ancient road.

The 70-meter or 230-foot section of an ancient road built by the Romans.

It was the city’s main travel artery nearly 2,000 years ago.

They found tools and lamps and bases of marble columns.

Archaeologists also found remains of another older Greek ancient road, which is 500 years older underneath ancient road!

So, there are two ancient roads on top of each other.

By the way, I have an archaeologists friend from Australia name Rupert Mann.
