Age of Empires 3 The War Chiefs

In 2006 Ensemble Studios and Microsoft Studio made an expansion game of the Age of Empires 3 named Age of Empires 3  (TWC)

The game is the same but they added revolution, trade monopoly, three new home cities, new campaigns, new armies, new mercenaries and stealth.

Each country can only choose one of the two revolutionary leaders given.

Once we chose a leader,  we can’t use the other one and can’t upgrade to Imperial age.

Here’s the table of the revolutionary leaders that we can choose for the game:

Nation Revolutionary Advantages Available to
Argentina San Martín Grants 6 Imperial Howitzers (mortar is upgraded). Germans
Brazil Bonifácio 20 Fierce Legendary Tupi warriors come to your aid. All natives are set to Legendary level. Portuguese and Dutch
Chile O’Higgins Grants 10 Imperial Hussars (Hussars are upgraded). Ottomans and Spanish
Colombia Santander Grants 3 ironclads Ottomans, French, and Russians
Haiti L’Ouverture Colonial militia have more hitpoints. French and British
Mexico Hidalgo A group of outlaws rally to your cause. Spanish and Portuguese
Peru Bolívar All units gain 5% more hitpoints. Russians and Germans
United States Washington Gatling guns have more hitpoints. British and Dutch

Trade monopoly lets us win once we  build enough trading post.

We will win the game in a few minutes after we click the trading post button.

The three new home cities are ‘The Aztecs’, ‘The Iroquois’ and ‘The Sioux’.

These are the Sioux's tents.

They also added two new campaigns, ‘Which is Act I: Fire’ and ‘Act II: Shadow’.

Fire is about Nathaniel Black, the half native son of John Black and Amelia Black’s father.

Shadow is about Chayton Black who was Amelia’s only son with a Sioux.

Chayton Black (left) and Billy Holmes (right).

The new armies are ‘Horse Gun’ and ‘Petard’ which are available to all country except  the Aztecs, the Iroquois and the Sioux.

Some units (Native Scout, Navajo and Ninja) can stealth but other units can’t.

There are new mercenaries which are Ninja, Elmeti, Camonchero, Pistolero, Renegado and more.

My favorite mercenary is Ninja

Mr. Mus Was Captured In A Monkey’s Trap

On December 17, 2011, we were surprised to hear noises in front of our house.

My big sister Kaman opened the door and saw a type of monkey or ‘beruk’ (in Malay) near the front door.

‘Beruk’ is a big monkey about the size of me that is easy to be tamed and trained to do lots of things.

We checked our CCTV and saw it messing up our shoe rack looking for food.

We named the monkey Kiki.

My father called the Department Of Wildlife And National Parks Peninsular Malaysia (PERHILITAN) and very soon, they reached our house.

He gave us a cage trap and we put it in front of our house.

We put a banana in it and poke a stick into the banana so that when something disturb the banana, the cage door will close.

That evening we heard noises in front of our house and saw something was trapped in the cage on our CCTV.

We went out to check the cage and saw a fox trapped in the cage instead of a monkey!

We named the fox Mr. Mus.

Mr. Mus the fox was caught in a monkey's trap cage. It must be very sad to trapped in the cage.

When we checked on the CCTV, we saw that the fox was conscious of the trap.

It went around the cage searching for other ways to take the banana instead of going inside the cage.

It only went in after trying other ways and once it touched the banana, the cage door was closed so Mr. Mus was trapped in the cage.

The next day, the uncle from PERHILITAN came and took Mr. Mus to a safe place and set up a new cage for the monkey.

The uncle from PERHILITAN gave us a new trap cage.

We have to buy another bunch of banana because Mr. Mus had eaten our last banana 🙂

I think Mr. Mus is very cute but very smelly.

My sister and I said goodbye to Mr. Mus before it was driven away to a safe place.

Pos Malaysia New Issue: Institusi Diraja/Royal Institution

On December 12, 2011  Pos Malaysia issued a new set of special issue stamps – Institusi Diraja or Royal Institution.

They are very beautiful.

Here are the stamps:

The 60 sen Gandik Diraja or the Royal Tiara stamp shows the tiara of the Her Majesty Raja Permaisuri Agong of Malaysia.

The 80 cents Pending Diraja or the Royal Waist Buckle stamp shows the royal belt of His Majesty Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia.
