I live in Alabama. There has been much damage from the storm system, just as you said. I am a 4th grade teacher. One of the 2nd grade teachers at my school lost all of her material possessions. All that was left of her house was part of the closet where her son went to stay safe. Thankfully, he was able to dig his way out and is okay. Many people were not as fortunate. We should be thankful every day for the gift of life.

I am very sad and sorry to read the news about the deadly storms and tornadoes. It must be sad for the victims to lost their things and some of their families and friend. But anyway, I am very happy that your friend’s son is okay. He must very scared. He is smart to hide in the closet.
