A Penang Prawn Noodle Lunch I went to Penang last May. Over there, I had ‘Penang Prawn Noodle’ for lunch. In Malay, ‘Penang Prawn Noodle’ is ‘Mee Udang Pulau Pinang‘. We had our lunch at a restaurant in Sungai Dua, Penang. There is a big paddy field across the restaurant. When I reached there it was very hot. Then it became cooler because it was raining. I think the noodle was too hot but my parents said it was tasty 🙂 There were lots of prawns in the noodle. My sisters ate fried kuey teow. My sisters said the fried kuey teow was very delicious. We drank cold ‘Lai Chee Kang‘; a drink with ice, jelly and lots of other things. I think the food at the restaurant was delicious but too hot and the place is very hot if it is not raining.
