Ethiopian Airlines Crashed

An Ethiopian Airlines plane Flight 409 crashed into the Mediterranean Sea, near Na’ameh early Monday morning.

It is a Boeing 737 – 800.

It crashed soon after takeoff from the Rafik Hariri International Airport, Beirut at about 2:30 am local time.

Beirut is the capital of Lebanon.

There was a thunderstorm and heavy rain at the time.

The plane was flying to Addis Ababa.

Addis Ababa is the capital of Ethiopia.

There are about 90 people on the plane.

51 of the passengers are Lebanese.

Most others are Ethiopian.

Search and rescue operations are going on.

So far they had found four bodies.

It is a sad news and the families and friends of the victims must be very sad.
