Aftermath of Earthquake in Haiti. The 7.0 earthquake destroyed lots and lots of buildings in Port-au-Prince. There is no electricity and water in the city. People sleep outside; in the parks, by the streets or just outside their houses. Thousands and thousands of people died in the earthquake. People cannot find their family members. They must be very, very, very sad. The President’s residence is destroyed. Dead bodies are by the streets. Bodies lie covered on the side of the road in Port-au-Prince People cannot clean themselves because there is no water. People can get sick if they don’t wash their hands or drink dirty water. More people could die. Children may be lost. They can’t go school and their books were destroyed. It is a big disaster. CNN said it is a catastrophe of major proportions. I pray that there won’t be too much major earthquake in Haiti.
