Going To Penang

Continued from Going To Cameron Highland 🙂 Please read my last post 🙂

I reached Penang at about 3:00 PM.

I stayed at the Bayview Beach Resort at Batu Ferringhi Beach for 2 nights and 3 days.

I stayed in a BIG family room with a king size bed and two other beds with two Sony televisions sets.

My room number was 740.

Bayview Beach Resort is my favourite hotel in Penang.

I always stay there when I go to Penang.

In the evening I played at the beach until sunset.

The next morning I played at the beach again.

I went on a boat ride, rode on a jet ski, played in the sea and built a triangle sand castle.

I enjoyed riding the jet ski the best, next building the sand castle, next boat riding, and last playing in the sea because I don’t like it when the salt water got into my mouth.

13102009(022)

I told the wave to stop but it did not listen to me.

I love riding the jet ski because it was very, very, very, very, very fast.

In the evening I played at the beach again until sunset.

We had our dinner at Padang Brown.

I ate a delicious mutton soup with bread.

The next morning we went to Fort Cornwallis and Gurney Drive before we went on the ferry and drove back to Kuala Lumpur.

I enjoyed the trip to Penang very much because it was really fun.

Fin. The End.

Going To Cameron Highland (Continued From My Last Post)

Continued from ‘A Picnic At Taman Tasik Ampang Hilir’ (please read my last post first).

We fetched Uncle Osman from SuCasa at about 1:30 pm and drove to Cameron Highlands.

SuCasa means your home.

I reached Cameron Highland at about 6:00 pm.

Over there it was cold and there are a lot strawberry farms.

I stayed in a 3 rooms apartment at the Strawberry Park Resort.12102009(031)

Anyway there is no strawberry plant at the Strawberry Park Resort.

There are lots of flowers all around the place.

We had dinner at the Marrybrown Restaurant in Tanah Rata.

We ate outside on the swings.11102009(065)

I had fun and I finished my dinner all by my self.

That night was cold, the temperature was 17*C.

There was a night market or pasar malam that night at Tanah Rata.

My mother bought fried bananas and tasty keropok lekor.

The next day we went to a strawberry farm.

We can go strawberry picking in Cameron Highland.

Next we went to the Kea Farm market.

There are lots of strawberry shaped balloons strawberry shaped balls, strawberry shaped bags, strawberry shaped hats, strawberry shaped stuff toys and other things in the shape of strawberry.

There are also lots of fresh strawberries, strawberry jams, syrup, ice-cream and other food made from strawberries.

I ate tasty BBQ corn and yummy strawberry ice-cream.

The strawberry ice-cream was red but it has no artificial colouring.

The corn was so soft, sweet and juicy.12102009(053)

We did not buy fresh strawberry because they are sour and are not sweet like the ones that I ate in the U.S.A.

Last we went to the Cameron Valley Tea Shop.

I enjoyed going to Cameron Highland because it was fun and cold and I wish to go there again.

To be continued.

A Picnic At Taman Tasik Ampang Hilir (Ampang Hilir Lake Garden)

On 11/10/09 I went for a picnic with my father’s friends from Southern Illinois University Carbondale .

Over there I met Abang Mohammad Arif, Uncle Osman, Aunty Yaman, big sister Arwa, Uncle Raof, Pak Cik Borhan & others.

11102009(035)

My mother cooked pasta for the picnic.

I love to eat the food that my mother cooks.

07102009(004)

I played at the play ground & I like it when big sister Arwa pushed me on the swing.

She pushed me very hard and the swing went up very high.

I felt like falling down and took off my slippers because I was scared they would fall down into the lake.

I love my slippers and the slippers are not waterproof.

I also enjoyed climbing up something that looks like rock climbing.

After the picnic I went back home and after that we went to Cameron Highland, Pahang.

To be continued in my next post 🙂 😉

Going To Melaka (Malacca)

Yesterday I went to Melaka with Uncle Osman Mokhtar El-Mubarak, Aunty Yaman and big sister Arwa.

Uncle Osman is my father’s old friend from  Khartoum, Sudan.

Uncle Osman studied in the USA with my father long, long time ago.

We went to fetch Uncle Osman at 7:35 AM from the Sucasa Hotel.

First I went to Taman Mini Malaysia & Taman Mini Asean in Ayer Keroh.

08102009(034)

Next we drove to the city of Malacca.

There are a lot of historical buildings for example Porta De Santiago, Fort A Famosa, the Stadthuys, old shop houses and others.

I saw a Chevrolet belonged to the first Malaysian Prime Minister Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj at a museum in Malacca.

08102009(062)

We had lunch with Uncle Fauzan and his son abang Mohammad Arif.

After lunch we went to the Straits Mosque in Pulau Melaka or Melaka Island.

08102009(146)

Pulau Melaka is not a real island but it is a man made island.

Next we went to the Malacca Crocodile Park.

We saw baby crocodiles and big crocodiles.08102009(168)

I was afraid of those crocodiles.

The crocodiles did not move.

I think the crocodiles were paralyzed.

My Roselle Plant

I have a Roselle plant.

Roselle is a type of Hibiscus.

28092009(009)I planted it a few months ago.

My Roselle plant’s name is Rosie.

Now Rosie is 0 year old but Rosie is already tall.

Rosie already has two flowers and two fruits.

Roselle’s petals can be eaten.

Rosie’s petals taste very, very, very sour.

Hibiscus, specifically Roselle, has been used in folk medicine as a diuretic, mild laxative, and treatment for cardiac and nerve diseases and cancer.

Roselle are rich in Vitamin C.

28092009(007)I love to eat Roselle’s petals.

My father’s school was Sultan Sulaiman Secondary School.

Next we went to Uncle Amrahi’s house in Keramat.

I ate satay, custard and nata de coco.

They are very tasty.

I love custard very much.

04102009(043)Uncle Amrahi is the vice president of Silat Cekak Hanafi.

I met a lot of Silat Cekak Hanafi’s members and instructors.

After Uncle Amrahi’s house I went to a wedding celebration in Gombak.
