Janji Bulan dan Bintang, By #NoDirectionShow

Yesterday, as I was writing a post, I switched on the YouTube channel which upload the #NoDirectionShow songs, waiting for their latest song to be uploaded.

At 6:00 p.m. I refreshed the tab of the YouTube channel but the song was not yet uploaded.

So, I timed another five minutes and waited while writing my other post.

Before the time was up, my big sister came asking whether the video-clip could be watched yet.

I refreshed the page, and there was, ‘#NoDirectionShow – Janji Bulan Dan Bintang’.

I really enjoy this latest video-clip.

#NoDirectionShow had earlier released two hit video-clips, ’Krisis Air’ (please click here to watch the video) and ‘Cerita Pasal Tanah’ (please click here to watch the video).

Anyway yesterday evening it took a very  long time to get the video loaded; as slow as a crawling turtle – it was like the old days when internet was really slow …

Actress Cindy Lee Garcia Sues Producer Of ‘Innocence Of Muslims’

Actress Cindy Lee Garcia who acted in the film, ‘Innocence of Muslims’ sues the film producer for fraud and slander.

Nakoula Basseley Nakoula alias Sam Bacile is reported to be the producer.

She also named Google Inc and its YouTube unit as defendants, asked that the film be removed from YouTube and said her right to privacy had been violated.

The suit accuses Nakoula, Google and YouTube of invasion of privacy, unfair business practices, the use of Garcia’s likeness without permission and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

“This lawsuit is not an attack on the First Amendment nor on the right for Americans to say what they think, but does request that the offending content be removed from the Internet,” the lawsuit said.

Does the producer’s freedom of expression gives him the right to use and cheat the actress in expressing his freedom of speech?

And what about the rights of actress Cindy Lee Garcia?

I really pity the actress if she really was cheated by the producer.

And why did Sam Bacile cheated the actress if he thinks that it is okay to produce the ”hateful” film?

I agree with the U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon that freedom of expression should not be abused to provoke or humiliate some others’ values and beliefs.

The world will be a better place to live in if every body can try to be a better person and respect people around us.

Argentina’s Upsala Glacier Iceburg Tipped Over

A group of tourists touring the Upsala Glacier in Argentina were lucky to see a huge iceberg breaking into the lake.

They were traveling in a type of boat called catamaran.

One of the tourists recorded what happened and posted it on YouTube.

It happened in March but the video was posted in May.

On March 4, 2012 a massive ice wall at the Perito Moreno glacier near the city of El Calafate, southern Argentina falled into the Lago Argentino; please click here for the photos.

I think the iceberg melted because of  the global warming even though some scientists do not blame global warming.

Yesterday there was an annular solar eclipse.

People in parts of Asia and western North America were very lucky to be able to witness the amazing and rare astronomical event.

Anyway we cannot see yesterday’s solar eclipse in Kuala Lumpur so I can only watch them on YouTube videos.

Asyraf Haziq Tells His Story(Kisah Benar Asyraf Haziq)

A Malaysian student in London, Asyraf Haziq was attacked and robbed by London rioters.

First he was attacked by a group including children who tried to steal his phone and they left him after he was injured.

Later another group pretended to help him but they were actually stealing his things.

I Watched Small Potatoes :)

Small Potatoes' Ruby

‘Small Potatoes’ is the latest TV shortform series by the Little Airplane Productions.

It is created, written and directed by Josh Selig, the creator of ‘Wonder Pets’and ‘3rd & Bird’.

I first knew about ‘Small Potatoes’ on Jan 29, 2011 when Mr. Josh Selig sent me a comment on my post, ’3rd & Bird‘.

I am very happy and proud to received comments from Mr. Josh Selig!

He also gave me the link to listen to one of the songs from ‘Small Potatoes’, ‘Imagination’.

The shows airs in Spring 2011 but I can’t watch them because I don’t have cable TV or satellite TV at home.

And today I am very happy because I can watch them on YouTube!

The episode that I first watched was the first episode, ‘Imagination (Give It A Try)’.

I really love the show

I think ‘Small Potatoes’ is so cute and sweet and the song are very beautiful.

Thank you to Mr. Josh Selig for creating beautiful animations and nice songs that promotes good values

Children television series must promote good values and teach children to be a better person and not promoting bad values and violence.

Performing Nasheed At Shah Alam

Yesterday my sisters and I performed nasheed at the Maal Hijrah 1431 Carnival in Shah Alam.

First we sang the ‘Khalifah Song’.

Second we sang ‘Animals Love To Hear Quran’.

Third we sang ‘Alhamdulillah’.

And last we sang the ‘Khalifah Song’ again.

“Animals Love To Hear Quran’ and ‘Alhamdulillah’ were written by Dawud Wharnsby Ali.

It was raining very heavily and we have to wait for the lightnings to stop before going on stage.

It was fun to perform on stage.

The carnival was organised by the Jabatan Agama Islam Selangor(JAIS) together with MUAFAKAT (my father’s NGO).

It was held at the Masjid Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah or Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Mosque in Shah Alam.

Shah Alam is the capital of Selangor.

I hope that there will be more chances for us to perform next time
