Small Potatoes' Ruby

‘Small Potatoes’ is the latest TV shortform series by the Little Airplane Productions.

It is created, written and directed by Josh Selig, the creator of ‘Wonder Pets’and ‘3rd & Bird’.

I first knew about ‘Small Potatoes’ on Jan 29, 2011 when Mr. Josh Selig sent me a comment on my post, ’3rd & Bird‘.

I am very happy and proud to received comments from Mr. Josh Selig!

He also gave me the link to listen to one of the songs from ‘Small Potatoes’, ‘Imagination’.

The shows airs in Spring 2011 but I can’t watch them because I don’t have cable TV or satellite TV at home.

And today I am very happy because I can watch them on YouTube!

The episode that I first watched was the first episode, ‘Imagination (Give It A Try)’.

I really love the show

I think ‘Small Potatoes’ is so cute and sweet and the song are very beautiful.

Thank you to Mr. Josh Selig for creating beautiful animations and nice songs that promotes good values

Children television series must promote good values and teach children to be a better person and not promoting bad values and violence.

I knew about this new TV show when Mr. Josh Selig sent me a comment on my post, 3rd & Bird.

Mr. Josh Selig is the founder and president of the Little Airplane Productions.

He is the creator of ‘Wonder Pets’ and ’3rd & Bird’.

In his comment he told me about their new show, ‘Small Potatoes’.

‘Small Potatoes’ will be aired in Spring 2011.

There are four main characters in ‘Small Potatoes’.

‘Small Potatoes’ is a short form animated series.

And Mr. Josh Selig wrote to me that, ” ‘Small Potatoes’ promotes good values and is also a very cute and very musical show”.

I think Ruby is very cute.

Anyway I cannot check out the songs because I do not have a Facebook account.

I hope ‘Small Potatoes’ can promote good values and as fun as ‘Wonder Pets’ and ’3rd and Bird’.

3rd & Bird

I watch 3rd & Bird on TV AlHijrah.

It was real fun and the animation is so beautiful.

The story is about Samuel, Rudy and Muffin playing, singing, dancing and exploring all around the 3rd & Bird.

The stories teach us good values.

The characters help each other and they work together.

I read on the internet that 3rd & Bird is originally from Cbeebies.

But the first time I watched it, I thought it was from Nick Jr.

And 3rd & Bird reminds me of the Wonder Pets.

I think it is because the creator of 3rd & Bird is Josh Selig and the creative director is Jennifer Oxley.

They are also the creator and the creative director of Wonder Pets.

The first 3rd & Bird episode that I watched was ‘Go Camping  and Starry Night’.

In Malaysia 3rd & Bird is aired daily on TV AlHijrah at 3:30 pm.

The cast are:

• Muffin – Eden Jarrett – a pre-school lovebird.
• Samuel – Sam Lewis – Muffin’s elder brother.
• Rudy – Morgan Gayle – Called a cockatoo in the program, but looks like a Cockatiel, Samuel’s best friend. She wears a bracelet of colored stones on her ankle.
• Quinn – Preston Nyman – a puffin, works as an inventor; appears to be a teenager.
• Mr Beakman – Michael Fenton Stevens – the children’s teacher, a wise toucan who frequently acts as the voice of parental authority.
• Missy – Charlotte Leslie-Cameron – a French Great Blue Turaco.
• Mrs Billingsley – Anna Nygh – a gardening kiwi with a New Zealand accent.

SpongeBob SquarePants

SpongeBob SquarePants is a very popular animation story from Nickelodeon.

SpongeBob lives in an underwater city name ‘Bikini Bottom’.

His best friend is Patrick Star.

SpongeBob is very popular in Malaysia.

Lots of kids love to watch SpongeBob.

There are a lot of SpongeBob toys and t-shirts but I don’t want them

I don’t really like to watch SpongeBob SquarePants

The characters are not very polite to each other.

In fact sometimes they are rude.

And I can’t learn anything by watching the series

I like to watch something that can teach me lots of good things like good manners.

I like to watch ‘Barney and Friends‘ because Barney teach me good manners.

I learn Spanish from ‘Dora The Explorer‘.

I can learn about animals from ’Go Diego Go‘.

I learnt how to make a forest bird sound from one of the episodes.

Wonder Pets teach us to think fast and how to work together.

I learn a lot from Sesame Street.

However I think the drawing of flowers around ‘Bikini Bottom’ are very nice.

Barney and Friends

Barney is an imagination dinasour.

Barney is a purple dinasour with green spots.

Barney likes to sing and dance.

Barney has a bag.

They call it Barney bag.

I like to watch Barney and friends because they are good like Dora, Diego and Wonder Pets.

They do not fight.

I also like to sing with Barney.

I went to see Barney Live in Kuala Lumpur when I was 1 year old.

Dora The Explorer

Dora is an explorer. Dora is a girl. Dora goes

everywhere and save everybody in trouble.

Dora’s friends are Boots, Benny, Isa, Tico and

Swiper. Boots is a monkey. Benny is a bull. Isa

is an iguana. Tico is a squirrel. Swiper is a fox.

Boots, Benny, Isa and Tico are good everyday.

Swiper is naughty but sometimes Swiper is

good.

Dora has a Backpack. If Dora wants to use

anything for her work she takes them from her

Backpack.

Dora The Explorer is a good show because they

are not fighting just like Wonder Pets and Go

Diego Go. I like to watch Dora but now no

Dora show on TV3 kids and TV9.

Dora is Diego’s cousin. Dora speaks English

and Spanish. I can count from 1 to 10 in

Spanish.

Go Diego Go

Diego is an animal rescuer.

Everyday he saves animals.

If he wants to know who is in trouble, he uses his camera.

The camera’s name is Click.

The camera is inside the TreeHouse.

Diego has a Rescue Pack.

Rescue Pack can change into anything but not people.

His friend is Baby Jaguar, his sister is Alicia and his cousin is Dora.

Go Diego Go is a good show like Wonder Pets because they are not fighting.

Diego speaks English and Spanish.

He lives in Latin America.

I first saw Go Diego Go on TV in Crowne Plaza in Chicago.

Wonder Pets

Wonder Pets like to eat celery after they saved animals. They like to save animals in trouble. They save animals everyday. The guinea pig’s name is Linny, the turtle’s name is Tuck and the duckling’s name is Ming- Ming. If they want to save animals they don’t use a car but they use their flying boat named Flyboat.

I like to watch  Wonder Pets and I like to sing the Wonder Pets songs. Wonder Pets are good animals because they do not fight but they only save other animals. I like to eat celery too.

I also love to watch 3rd & Bird.
