Pakatan Rakyat, Pluralism, Socialism And Revolusion

28 01 2013

In Penang, a small group of people had attended a ‘Holy Book Reading’ session yesterday.

Among them was Mislina Mustaffa who had earlier participated in other illegal demonstrations organised by the oppositions such as the ‘Occupy Dataran Merdeka’ and the’ KL112′.

From Occupy Dataran Merdeka, to the HKR #KL112 and all the way to here.

From Occupy Dataran Merdeka, to the HKR #KL112 and now the ‘Holy Book reading’. Thank you Sel 13, Cucu Tok selampit and info 4 the truth for the photos.

I don’t know which holy books they were reading because I was not there.

Anyway I saw a lady wearing hijab in the photos.

I wonder; if she is a Muslim, does she understand what she was doing?

A part of the people who attended the event.

But reading the sign below, maybe she does not understand …

hhh

I wonder if they wrote this sign to tell that they are confused …

This is part of Pluralism of Religions and for the Muslims, this is not the right way  to respect other religions.

And there was a sign in one of the photos below that said …

“Read it, NOT BURN IT!!

We RESPECT other RELIGIONS!!”

Who wrote this sign and why?

What issue are they referring to, and who are they accusing as the bad person?

(Please click the photos for larger image)

nnn

Who are these people?

And look at the words written on the man’s t-shirt, ‘socialism’ and ‘revolt’. (Please read: KL112: Is PR After A Revolution? and A New Malaysian Flag – A Sign Of PR’s Revolution?

So are they part of those groups who want to start a revolution and support socialism?

Socialism has lots of similarities to communism.

So, is this a part of the oppositions’ plans to make people hate the Muslims and UMNO?

So, what will PAS leaders say about this?

Can we trust PR to uphold our Federal Constitution especially Article 3(1)?

Ngeh Koo Ham, Majlis Syura Ulama PAS And ‘Kalimah Allah’

16 01 2013

Please click the above image to read the Sinar Harian’s article.

Today Sinar Harian (SN) publishes an article about YB Ngeh Koo Ham’s statement on the ‘kalimah Allah’ issue.

The ‘kalimah Allah’ issue, became a hot topic again after DAP’s Chief Minister of Penang, Lim Guan Eng’s statement about using the word “Allah” in the Malay version of bible.

Ngeh told SN that he agrees with PAS’s Majlis Syura Ulama that ‘kalimah Allah’ is universal and can be quoted by everybody.

SN wrote, “Beliau berkata, setiap agama mempercayai bahawa wujudnya satu tuhan iaitu ALLAH cuma setiap agama berbeza perspektif dalam mempercayainya” or he quoted, all religions believe that there is one god which is Allah but they believe in Him in different prespectives.

SN reported YB Ngeh saying:

“Saya yakin kebanyakan agama di dunia meyakini tuhan itu satu tetapi konsep ketuhanan itu sedikit berbeza. Saya juga bersetuju bahawa bukan Islam tidak boleh menggunakan kalimah ALLAH untuk maksud yang lain.”

or

”I am confident that most of the religions in this world believe that god is one but their concepts of god is slightly different. I also agree that the word ALLAH can’t be used by the non-Muslims for other meanings.”

His statements made me sad and surprised.

So does Ngeh mean that all religions believe in the same god that is Allah or the Muslim’s Allah is the same as other gods of other religions?

Is Ngeh referring to Pluralism of Religion?

If he means that; then he is totally wrong; for in Islam (which is the religion of this country as in Article 3(1) of the Federal Constitution), we do not believe in Pluralism of Religion.

The DAP’s Perak Chairman always made untrue statements about Islam when he is not a Muslim and does not understand Islam.

PAS should advise its ally …but PAS leaders themselves seems to be very confused over lots of issues regarding Islam.

They put all the blame on UMNO or Umno related medias for what ever mistakes they made including this issue!

So, can we trust the oppositions?

U.N. Chief: Anti-Islam Filmmaker Abused Freedom Of Expression

20 09 2012

UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) - U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said on Wednesday the maker of an anti-Islam film that triggered violent protests across the Muslim world abused his right to freedom of expression by making the movie, which he called a “disgraceful and shameful act.”

The film, posted on the Internet under several titles including “Innocence of Muslims,” mocked the Prophet Mohammad and portrayed him as a womanizer and a fool.

It sparked days of deadly anti-American violence in many Muslim countries, including an assault on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi in Libya in which the U.S. ambassador died.

“Freedoms of expression should be and must be guaranteed and protected, when they are used for common justice, common purpose,” Ban told a news conference.

“When some people use this freedom of expression to provoke or humiliate some others’ values and beliefs, then this cannot be protected in such a way.”

“My position is that freedom of expression, while it is a fundamental right and privilege, should not be abused by such people, by such a disgraceful and shameful act,” he said.

A California man convicted of bank fraud was taken in for questioning on Saturday by U.S. authorities investigating possible probation violations stemming from the making of the video. He has denied involvement in the film and has now gone into hiding.

I agree with the U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon that freedom of expression should not be abused to provoke or humiliate some others’ values and beliefs.

I protest over what Sam Bacile did as well as over the violence and killings during the protests over the film in some countries.

Muslims must protest but it must be done in a peaceful assembly or in other peaceful ways because that is how good Muslims should behave.

Flash Flood Hit Segambut, Sentul and Klang

22 08 2012

Motorists drove through flooded Jalan Segambut in Kuala Lumpur.

Yesterday Segambut was hit by a bad flash flood.

In some area the flood water rose up to 3 meters tall.

This happened on the third day of Eid.

Flash floods were also reported in Jalan Ipoh in Sentul and Klang.

Doing what they can: Villagers using pails to get rid of rainwater which inundated their home in Ladang Segambut.

This is a disaster!

I am very sorry for the victims especially the Muslims who were still celebrating Eid when their houses were flooded.

Malaysians Say No To Irshad Manji’s Program

17 05 2012

(On May 23, 2012, the BFM 89.9 radio had cancelled airing Irshad Manji’s recorded interview-please click here for the news.)

Tomorrow Irshad Manji was supposed to give a talk at Monash University, Sunway Campus in Selangor entitled, Moral Courage: Creating Space: for Islam and Democracy from 1.00 to 2.00pm which is during the Friday Prayer.

Someone tweeted her:

Hi, selamat datang :)  Is this event catered to Muslim women only? Not gonna include Muslim men? Friday prayer is at about 1-2pm

She tweeted back:

All r welcome, sis. Quran does not prescribe how/when 2 pray. This is man-made, not God-given, ritual. Salaam from KL

They choose the specific time for the program so that the Muslim men cannot hold a protest and to disgrace Islam because she claimed that, “Quran does not prescribe how/when 2 pray.”

But the program had been cancelled because of the ’pressure by Selangor Islamic Religious Department (JAIS)’.

Borders Books also cancelled her program because of the security concerns.

Her publisher, ZI Publication is trying to find a public space in which Manji can discuss her book, Allah, Liberty & Love.

Do Irshad Manji and her publisher  really think that Malaysian Muslims really want to listen to her?

Malaysia is a Muslim country and the majority of the Muslims here are good Muslims who do not want to hear anything about her books because the books disgrace Islam.

So, only very few people welcome her here, those who are liberal like she is.

Rather than trying to reform Islam, she should make a change and learn be a good Muslim.

She is the one who should learn about Islam and not the one to teach other people the false Islam.

Bone China Crockery, ICL Lens Are Haram-National Fatwa Council Committee/Pinggan Mangkuk Bone China, Kanta ICL Haram

8 05 2012

National Fatwa Council Committee of Malaysia(Jawatankuasa Majlis Fatwa Kebangsaan) had decided that the use of crockery, Implantable Contact Lens(ICL Lens) and jewelery from pig bone or Bone China is haram for the Muslims.

Its chairman, Professor Emeritus Tan Sri Dr. Abdul Shukor Husin said that even though the bone has changed in appearance after all the process (that turned the bone to ashes), it is still categorized as unclean(najis berat) to the Muslims.

My father told us about this matter a long time ago and we always have to check the mugs at my grandmother’s house before using them :) My grandmother thought that I was wrong when I told her that Bone China is haram.

A lot of other Muslims also bought and use Bone China crockery because they don’t know that it is haram to use them.

Bone China crockery are expensive and very popular because they are nice.

A beautiful Old Country Roses Royal Albert Bone China tea set.

As a Muslim we have to be careful about items we use and the food we eat.

We also have to be careful with our behavior.

Solat Tarawih

20 08 2010

Now is Ramadan; the Muslim’s holy month.

During Ramadan we fast, perform the solat Tarawih and read the Quran.

We perform the solat Tarawih only in Ramadan.

When we do the solat Tarawih, we will get lots of extra rewards from Allah.

But first we need to pray our daily solats:

  1. Subuh 2 raka’ats

  2. Zohor 4 raka’ats

  3. Asar 4 raka’ats

  4. Maghrib 3 raka’ats

  5. Isyak 4 raka’ats

I think it’s easier to mark the raka’ats on a piece of paper in case we forget how many raka’ats we had prayed.

When I  perform the solat Tarawih, I pray 20 raka’ats.

That means I pray ten times because each of the prayer has 2 raka’ats.

People usually pray the solat Tarawih 8 raka’ats or 20 raka’ats.

After the solat Tarawih, I first do the solat Witir 2 raka’ats.

After that I solat Witir 1 raka’at.

The total raka’ats in solat Tarawih is in even numbers but the raka’ats of solat Witir must be in odd numbers.
