At Least 50 Houses Flooded By Sandy Destroyed By NYC Fire

A huge fire destroyed at least 50 homes in a flooded neighborhood in the New York City borough of Queens was reported around 11 p.m. Monday.

More than 190 firefighters tried to stop the fire in the Breezy Point section.

The flood water was chest high on the street, and firefighters had to use a boat to make rescues.

In September, the beachfront neighborhood was struck by a rare tornado.

On Friday 11th March 2011, a 8.9 magnitude earthquake and a huge tsunami hit northeast coast Japan.

At least 1,300 people were killed in the disaster.

A lot of people were hurt.

This s the strongest earthquake ever recorded in Japan and the 5th in the world.

Houses, buildings, vehicles, roads, farms and others were swept by the tsunami.

The disasters also caused fire and floods.

I am sad and sorry for the victims and their families.

A Fire Destroyed 19 Hectares Of Forest In Bukit Kecil

More than 19 hectares of forest in Bukit Kecil, Kuala Terengganu were destroyed by fire.

Kuala Terengganu is my parent’s hometown.

I knew about the news from BERBAMA because we live in Kuala Lumpur.

This is a disaster.

The disaster started at about 2pm yesterday evening.

More than 100 firemen took more than 24 hours to control the fire.

Bukit Kecil is close to Bukit Pak Apil and not very far from my mother’s house in Bukit Besar.

I wonder if we can see the fire from my mother’s house.

I am sorry about the fire because it burnt the trees.

And if the trees are gone from the hillside, it may cause a landslide and mudslide.
