The Delicious ‘Original’ Mee Udang Sungai Dua(Part 1)

‘Mee Udang Sungai Dua’(please click here) is very popular in Penang and there are lots of ‘mee udang’(prawn noodle) restaurants in Sungai Dua.

Last week, Pak Cik Burhan(please click here) showed us a restaurant that he said is the original restaurant selling very delicious ‘mee udang’ in Sungai Dua.

The name of the restaurant is ‘Restoran Aur Gading’.

The restaurant is by a river and we can see the river while eating.

I saw some people fishing by the river.

A fishing rod by the river.

The place is beautiful and there are lots of trees around the restaurant.

We can see the river from our table.

Pak Cik Burhan and my parents ordered the ‘mee udang’.

My parent enjoyed the ‘mee udang’ very much!

They said that the ‘mee udang’ is very, very tasty but I think it is too hot

My sisters ordered ‘kuey teow goreng’(fried flat noodle).

The ‘kuey teows’ are not that tasty but the ‘mee udang’ are really good.

So, if you want a delicious ‘Mee Udang Sungai Dua’, you can visit this restaurant.

A Penang Prawn Noodle Lunch

I went to Penang last May.

Over there, I had ‘Penang Prawn Noodle’ for lunch.

In Malay, ‘Penang Prawn Noodle’ is ‘Mee Udang Pulau Pinang‘.

We had our lunch at a restaurant in Sungai Dua, Penang.

There is a big paddy field across the restaurant.

When I reached there it was very hot.

Then it became cooler because it was raining.

I think the noodle was too hot but my parents said it was tasty

There were lots of prawns in the noodle.

My sisters ate fried kuey teow.

My sisters said the fried kuey teow was very delicious.

We drank cold ‘Lai Chee Kang‘; a drink with ice, jelly and lots of other things.

I think the food at the restaurant was delicious but too hot and the place is very hot if it is not raining.

A Castle In Kuala Lumpur

A few weeks ago, my family and I went to a castle.

The castle is not as tall as the castles in Europe.

It’s name is Al-Rawsha.

Anyway, it is not a real castle; it’s actually a restaurant

The restaurant is at Jalan Kampung Pandan.

From the outside it looks like a real castle.

We went there to buy food for iftar.

The restaurant sells Middle Eastern cuisines.

We bought ‘Chicken Mandy’ and ‘Lamb Mandy‘.

There are yoghurt, salsa and rice together with the ‘Chicken and Lamb Mandy‘.

They are so delicious!

I wonder if there is any more restaurants that looks like a castle

Ramadhan Mubarak.

Today is the first day of Ramadhan.

Muslims fast in Ramadhan and today I’m fasting

This evening we are going to have bubur lambuk Kampung Baru for iftar.

It is so delicious.

Wonder where to get the tastiest bubur lambuk in Kuala Lumpur?

If you do not want to queue for the tasty bubur lambuk from Masjid Jamek Kampung Bahru, buy them at Aunty Sham’s stall.

Those are KL’s best bubur lambuk!

Fungi

Fungi (fun-guy) are multi-cell plant like organisms.

That means fungi are made by many cells.

Fungi are different from plants because fungi cannot make their own food.

They take their food from plants, animals and human.

Fungi live in damp and warm places.

Athlete Foot Is A Fungi Infection

Athlete foot and ringworm are caused by fungi infection.

Animals can get ringworm too.

Fungi can make human, animals and plants sick.

Fungi grew on my roselle plant and killed it.

Some fungi are poisonous but some are not.

Not all fungi are bad.

We can eat some fungi like mushroom.

Mushrooms are delicious and good for us.

Anyway some mushroom are poisonous.

Yeast is a type of fungi.

We use yeast to make pizza dough and bread.

We also use fungi in the fermentation of soy sauce.

My Strawberry Plant

My strawberry plant‘s name is Strawy.

I first saw Strawy at a farmer’s market.

Then I asked my mother to buy Strawy for me because I love to eat strawberries.

We paid RM 7 for Strawy.

It has lots of fruits when we bought it and two of the fruits are already red and ripe.

The strawberries looked very delicious.

I water Strawy twice a day.

I brought Strawy to Kuala Terengganu and brought it back to Kuala Lumpur.

But now Strawy can’t go to Kuala Terengganu anymore because it is dying.

I think Strawy is dying because we took it to Kuala Terengganu.

It was too sunny in Kuala Terengganu .

In Kuala Terengganu

Strawy needs a shady place and just a little water.

It will die if we put it under the hot sun or in heavy rain.

I am very sad because I can’t take Strawy to Kuala Terengganu again.

2nd Day In Kuala Terengganu

On the 2nd day in Kuala Terengganu I played TTHPE

TTHPE means ‘The Treasure Hunt People Edition’.

Next I played ‘Helicopter Ride’.

My mother cooked tom yam for lunch.

It was very delicious.

After lunch I played TTHPSE.

TTHPSE means ‘The Treasure Hunt People Subtract Edition’.

At 8.30pm we celebrated my birthday together with my Nenek’s bookshop’s staffs.

We ate tasty nasi minyak with beef and chicken.

Everybody sang the birthday song for me

After dinner we had a meeting with Nenek’s staffs.

I helped my father to play the PowerPoint presentation during the meeting.

Before I went to bed I ate nasi minyak again.

I was very happy and it was late when I went to bed.

Ice-cream

Ice-cream is so cold.

We keep ice-cream in a freezer.

They are beautiful because they are colourful.

Ice-cream is delicious.

I like gotcha, twister and traffic-light ice-cream.

I like ice-cream very much.

But I don’t like ice-cream cake and ice-cream potong.
